Homepage - Keep the old layout or allow option to use old or new layout
I find the new layout has many flaws - my main ones are
Colour choices – I saw Kelly’s comment that the use of red was intentional, however red is one of the most visually fatiguing colours, particularly when used extensively. For users who work in Xero all day, this makes the interface uncomfortable to view for long periods.
Size and visual density – The layout is now overly large and visually busy, which makes it harder to work efficiently. The previous layout was far easier on the eyes and allowed information to be absorbed quickly.
Privacy and confidentiality – Because the widgets are so large and bold, financial figures are now easily visible to others in the office. This creates a genuine privacy and confidentiality concern that did not exist with the previous, more compact design.
Let us have the option of using the old or new layout.
