Key Numbers in Bold
All I care about is the numbers.... that's the point of an accounting program. Why they are in a fancy new ultra thin and very unclear variant on gotham or helvetica neue light I have no idea... clearly form over function from the designers.
An accounting system is a cockpit for piloting your business, you don't make a cockpit pretty, you make it functional first, pretty second or you put lives and in Xero's case people's jobs at risk. Designers need to take their jobs more seriously.

Homepage clutter
Some widgets are too big and take up too much space. I cannot add widgets such as p/l that are helpful. I want to view accounts vertically on one side but cannot adjust this so I end up with a clutter. The font is over big and although going for a clean feel, you pack too much into the space and ruin the effect. Overall, not impressed. You raise fees and give users less.

I needs to have some sort of alert or red notification that an invoice has not been sent yet, or is sitting in draft. As we use external software to send invoices to draft in xero, things can get lost easily.

Chart of accounts watch list budget for quarter
Like many business' we operate more on qrtly budgets than monthly due to month to month volatility.

Is it possible to give more options in the Profit and Loss Widgit? on the mobile app you can change it to include current month, last
is it possible to give more options on the P&L widgit. The mobile app allows you to put "this month", "callendar year", last year etc. The current one seems restricted to last month, last year and current year.
A current month would be very useful to see how the month is tracking

Widgets jump around on the new homepage when the window is resized
My ability to navigate efficiently in Xero depends on the homepage widgets being in a predictable place. If I open Xero in a tab of a browser window that has a different width to the one in which I last opened Xero, everything is in a different place and I'm immediately disorientated.
This is particularly bad for me because I have a lot of bank accounts (chequing, credit card, PayPal in multiple currencies, Wise in multiple currencies, cash in several currencies) so I have a lot of widgets. It was difficult to get them where I wanted when editing the…

Profit & Loss Report Widget on New Home Page
Can you restore the "Month to Date" or "Current Month" for the Profit / Loss widget. It is available on the mobile app and was on the old layout. Currently we only have the "previous month" as an option for month.
Having the month available helps keep sales team up to date with targets without having to go through the extra steps of generating the report via the menu.

The new layout is harder to follow multiple back accounts and its says "reconciled" when you have items to reconcile which is also confusing

Consider not-for-profit organisations, they have different needs
Your updates are all geared towards profit making companies, which means they are all pretty much useless for not-for-profit organisations. These updates just added a lot of unnecessary clutter to my homepage that I needed to remove. You have a big not-for-profit and charity customer base whose needs you are ignoring.

Time saver !
It would be great if you were able to drop a pdf into an invoice from the list view without having to open the said invoice / bill.

Expenses
Atm the New Expenses Widget does not show any of the old/archived expense claims. My current widget is totally empty and in order to access the previous claims or even the claims that are currently outstanding, I need to revert to Classic Expenses. Only the claims submitted using the New Expenses will be visible on my Dashboard, at least this is what I hope. I believe the 2 should be talking to each other.

Company abbreviations by xero
The 3 letters that are by the company name are automatically chosen by Xero, we should be allowed to change this to something relevant, for example, my company is called ACR Fabrications Ltd, common sense would dictate those 3 letters should be ACR yet xero has chosen AFL which is obviously the first letter of each part but that's not relevant to my company

High impact with clarity on decisionmaking
I've adjusted my homepage to include the CHART OF ACCOUNTS WATCHLIST, and specifically the VAT CONTROL ACCOUNT. On my homepage, I want to quickly access information to make decisions - but in this view, I can only see the columns "This month" and "YTD" ... how can I edit the columns, so that it can include the DUE status. This will then show me my VAT YTD, THIS MONTH and WHAT IS NOW DUE. Decisions are made for cashflow based on what is DUE, not what has been paid (YTD).

Would love a widget that shows the leave requests sorted by closest leave date to later leave dates with a filter option to adjust to be able to show just pending approval, just approved or all.
Another widget that would be helpful is a summary of timesheets submitted for the current pay period/ next due pay run.

Faster and easier navigation to overdue invoices
I love that there is an easy to see red link to overdue invoices on the homepage, but could this also be added to the Invoices page? I keep going through extra clicks because I click into my overdue invoices to deal with them, select an invoice, and then have the 'back to invoices' link but if I click this there is then no option to select only overdue invoices to view. Also it would be great when viewing all invoices to have some easy way (maybe an '!' symbol or similar so it's colour-blind friendly) to identify which ones…

Correction on Widget
The "Recent invoice payments" Widget on the Homepage seems to be showing the wrong date for the receipt date. It seems to be behind by a day.
