Homepage - Role-Based Access for Business Overview and Reports
The Business Overview dashboard contains sensitive company performance data and should only be visible to certain roles.
It would be helpful if administrators could control which users can access the Business Overview and specific reports. For example, a Customer Service Manager may need access to invoice reports to follow up with customers, but should not have visibility of overall business performance metrics.
More granular report and dashboard permissions would allow businesses to protect sensitive financial information while giving staff access only to the data they need.

dividend avalability
other platforms have the ability to calculate dividends as per the attached, something like this would be good and pretty basic in my opinion, surprised it isnt already there

Combine the invoices Owed & Bills to Pay tiles to show short term cashflow impact
Combine the invoices owed & bills to pay tiles into a single column chart tile, which gives a better visual representation of the immediate short term cashflow impact of the flow of cash in and out.
If this is not possible - then allow the ability to lock the vertical axis scale on these widgets, (or automatically synchronise the Y axis to each other) so they can be placed side by side and give a relative view of money in vs money out.

Bank feed showing as last updated Jan 1 but it used to show that no bank feed had been set up.
Bank feed showing as last updated Jan 1 but it used to show that no bank feed had been set up. Please can we go back to the more meaningful description.
I've been asking new clients to check their bank feed when I should have still been chasing them to set it up. Now they're totally confused.

Significant time savings with payments
Create an aba file of payments, by supplier, with bank account number so that they can be imported into a bank system. IE as Direct Credit payments. Can either be singular transaction or batches

Add a colored line to the bottom of each feed to quickly identify types of accounts. Checking, savings, or credit card account
Allow for a line at the bottom of each different type of account to quickly identify the different accounts such as checking, savings, credit cards etc.

EASIER TO RECONCILE BETWEEN PAID IN AND PAID OUT
Allow a filter which enables you to only see paid in or paid out at a time. E.g if I only want to see and reconcile amounts paid in it would show purely that and not amounts /statement lines gone out and vice versa.

Information quick view
add widget that shows invoiced amounts and invoice payments per month as bar or line graph as this could differ from cash flow

Ensure things aren't easily missed.
Separate Widget for invoicing and bills DRAFTS - these are actionable and shouldn't be such small little links that could be easily missed/feel less important when made so small.

Refresh All Bank Feeds
For business entities with several bank accounts (a dozen or more), it would be nice to have a "Refresh all bank feeds" button/dropdown somewhere on the Homepage, rather than having to individually refresh the bank feeds for each account.

Give the ability to reduce the size of larger fields to the same size as the bank account fields.
Some of the fields, like "Chart of Accounts Watchlist" should have an option to reduce the size as well as enlarge it. This was really effective in the old Homepage.

new invoice
New invoice is the most important link on the front page. It's what keeps the machine rolling.
It used to be top left and always visible.
Now it's buried a click and a scroll and half way down page one at the bottom of the invoice tab somewhere in business overview, and I still don't have time to go scrolling for it.

Correctly allocate corporation tax
Homepage - make all the charting work
At the moment Corporation Tax is located in 'Overheads', meaning that all of the charting, reporting and analytics is incorrect.
Jazzy new home page features are effectively just wrong, because even if you play with layouts in individual P&L reports, the fudamental issue is that the numbers are wrong everywhere else because the chart of accounts places Corporation Tax 'before tax', which is clearly incorrect, wrecking all the charting and reporting features thoughout Xero including on the home page.
So now the home page is littered with a load of misinformation you have…

Homepage | Account Watchlist | Gain/Loss Colour Coded Against Budget
Would love to a visual queue on the accounts watchlist to show if the target has been met compared to the budget. Could the actuals for the account have the font colour coded depending on the budget variance.

Scrolling is painful. If boxes were small it would allow a quick glance to assess financial situation.
Does look more polished but the boxes are very large. Can they be made smaller and all the same size?

My inventory asset value has the biggest impact on my future bank balance
Inventory value on home page.
INVERNTORY + BANK BALANCE + INVOICES = money in
minus bills out = net worth in cash terms.
