Homepage
What a ridiculous page the new layout is. I tried to add a new bill to Xero, I went back to the NEW layout Bills to pay - nothing added, I tried again still nothing. I have to scroll down to find the draft bills at the bottom of the widget. More efficient NO, time consuming YES what a waste of space this new layout is. Wouldn't you think you'd have the Draft bill under the ones already approved not way down at the bottom. It's the same with the Invoices waiting for payment they are right at the bottom.…

Please keep it as it was, this is a very awkward new set up.
Permanently give the option to stay on the old set-up homepge.

Greater visual customisation options now needed
Given several feedback points on the forum, I feel now is the time to investigate exposing greater visual customisation options - not just for the homepage, although this could be an initial test ground, but also across the whole of the product.
Most of these can be implemented quite easily through adjustments in CSS, driven by user preferences, ensuring that Xero holistically adopts a consistent set of rendering styles. There should be zero impact on the actual functionality, with the majority of the changes/improvements sitting entirely within the presentation/UI of the product.

The new homepage looks great, but can this be mailed as a PDF. This way it can be sent to multiple users who might not access Xero on a daily basis

Client would not have to go look for the report
Would like the GST/HST Returns In progress section to show on the Homepage instead of the Chart of Accounts Watchlist. My clients could see at a glimpse what is owed for the 2 periods in progress vs the Chart of Accounts Watchlist showing a YTD balance owing.

Having the side menu on the home page requires an extra click to view items, before even clicking an item which is frustrating. I suggest moving the navigation menu back to the top on all pages so it is always visible and easy to access.

Adding Cashflow manager view into the dashboard
Adding Cashflow manager view into the dashboard is a helpful view to have. It will not only promote the idea of using the cashflow manager but for those who use it, will start giving dashboard views on cash forecast, balances and risks as cashflow management is an active part of small business users sensitivity.

Consider not-for-profit organisations, they have different needs
Your updates are all geared towards profit making companies, which means they are all pretty much useless for not-for-profit organisations. These updates just added a lot of unnecessary clutter to my homepage that I needed to remove. You have a big not-for-profit and charity customer base whose needs you are ignoring.

Time saver !

Would love a widget that shows the leave requests sorted by closest leave date to later leave dates with a filter option to adjust to be able to show just pending approval, just approved or all.
Another widget that would be helpful is a summary of timesheets submitted for the current pay period/ next due pay run.
