XPH - Bring back cost labels
Bring back cost labels in XPM, these are usefull when adding costs to invoices. The data base field still exists, we can see our old data when adding costs to invoices. We just cant access and edit or add new labels. Give us access to it via the back end or developer tools or API.

The cost label field was part of our legacy Suppliers functionality, which we sunsetted on 25 September 2024 as part of a wider clean-up of low‑usage features in XPM. As part of that work, the supplier options and the associated label field were removed from the Costs area.
Thanks for taking the time to share this idea with us and explain how the cost label helped you distinguish between similar costs in Xero Practice Manager.
In the meantime, a possible workaround is to build the extra detail you’d normally put in the label into either the Cost code or the Description (for example, appending a short suffix so you can still see the difference at a glance).

XPH - Hyperlinks open in new tab
Hyperlinks constantly (but not consistently) open in a new tab. This is not a necessary feature as you can already manually open hyperlinks in new tabs. Being forced to constantly open new tabs clutters existing tabs, is inconvenient and time wasting when you have to juggle tasks.

Really hard to read and favourite reports "gone"
Scrap the changes - landing screen is hard to read - just glares and the mouse over shading is distracting. Jobs should be first or at somehow at the top like the old one. Favourite reports drop down should be reinstated not just as an after thought on the Practice tab. Rendering is clunky and boxes jump around before settling - ******* the eyes. Just feels like an amateur dev has been let loose and not really thought about how practices work! As your feedback touches on a few different areas, I’ve shared it as Feedback with our product and design teams so they can consider it as they continue to improve the experience. This includes your points around the ‘Jobs’ priority and the visibility of Favourite reports.

Search auto default cursor to search field still not working?
Search auto default cursor to search field - this idea was marked as completed and the comment from Kelly indicated that this works. However, it does not seem to be working. Hitting '/' does open the search function, but the cursor does not default to the Search field (regardless of whether you select the magnifying glass using the mouse or by pressing '/'.

XPH - Search auto default the cursor to the search field
According to a previous idea - having the cursor automatically default to the search box when you click on the magnifiying glass has been actioned. But it's not working for me.
It will automatically default to the search box if I click on JAX or Help - but not the magnifying glass. Can you please investigate as it's a PITA having to click twice just to search up a client.
1 voteHi Nickie, sorry to hear the default for cursor isn't working properly for you. I have just tested this again on my end and find the cursor automatically goes to the search field by either clicking the Magnifying glass icon, or pressing '/' on my keyboard.
I'd recommend raising a case with our specialists at Xero Support so we can dig into what could be causing the trouble on for you here.

Work in progress
There is an issue with the Practice > Work in Progress Dashboard.
Clicking the aged WIP button for any month - the link seems to no longer work. The List Tab doesn't display anything.
