Quote - Ability to have quote reminder

Add feature to automatically follow up on quotes / send quote reminder *days before expiry or *days after quote issued — as there is with invoices. This feature comes standard with most other quoting interfaces.

Hi community, we understand how being able to send quote reminders like you can for invoices, would help with following up on uncommitted work with your customers and potentially locking in sales.

For the time being, as many will be aware you can resend a quote that’s already been sent, by clicking the 3 dot menu in the top right and choosing ‘Send’, where you’ll have the option to change the email and who it’s being addressed to.

This is something we have intentions of diving into discovery for this year and I’ll return to share more news when things progress. Thanks

    I quite often find customers will just forget to accept a quote, and won't remember until we tell them it has expired and needs requoting.

    It's a no-brainer, having automated reminders exactly as the OP said would make the whole process so much more efficient! There's a good reason why almost every online store has the 'you left this in your basket' reminders.

    It's more manageable for the user to use one software rather than two! Trust that no one would have an issue paying a little extra to save time!

    how long does Xero still need to monitor the interest? At what stage or vote numbers are this being taken seriously.

    Exceedingly important - to cut admin time time down - when will this be implemented?

    You can resend quotes in Blue Xero - why not in XPM?

    We have recently transitioned over to XPM and are looking to send reminders for quotes - but it seems this is not possible. Disappointing to read the comment thread and the fact the functionality just isn't there. Alternative is to do this manually, which is time consuming and the whole reason why we switched to XPM as we believed it would cut down on a significant amount of admin costs. Any idea when this might be implemented please??

    The ability to delete unwanted quotes, and to have a quote reminder should be implemented together. These are quite fundamental requirements, and we would appreciate some feedback from XERO development team. Is this on the horizon at all, or just another waste of time asking!

    The main issue for us is that now we need to do this and monitor this all manually so it would be a very welcome addition.

    Can't believe nothing has been done to implement this yet. It's clearly a requirement for Xero customers. I still can't believe it wasn't a functionality from day 1.

    For smaller companies with limited resources, it would be great to see some CRM features inside XERO. Follow-up on quoting would be my number 1.

    I would like to have reminders for quotes as this will enable us to plan workflow and avoid last minute rush jobs forgotten.

    Quotes are so easily forgotten about on both sides. Invoices have this ability it would be good to have the same you quotes as well.
