Invoice - Ability to search invoices using contact account number
When using the search fund for INVOICES current options are: Enter Number, Reference, Contact or Amount. It would be nice to also be able to search by the account number issued to your clients.

Really good to have the understanding of use cases in which you'd want to search invoices by the contact account number rather than contact name. Thanks everyone, we are continuing to develop our invoicing experience, however I want to be upfront that this isn't something we have plans for right now.
We are continuing to get a sense of the interest through this idea, so if there are any updates to share I'll let you know here.

This will be really helpful when doing bank allocations as a lot of our clients make payments using the account number as a reference

This is something I've been asking about for ages but Xero just doesn't deem it important.
It's also super frustrating that you can't search for account codes in the new customer/supplier area to avoid creating duplicates.
This is a very poor area of functionality for Xero and I'm very dissapointed.
