Invoice Templates - Drag and drop invoice designer
How come the process of designing invoices is so painful? It would be great to have a built-in drag and drop invoice designer. I realise it won't be easy but it's mad that our only option is to design them in Word. There are so many sites that allow similar functionality, albeit for non-finance related areas like marketing.

Provide Invoice Template Design tool inside XERO as opposed to having to import from MS Word
I was surprised of the very limited invoice template design options available within XERO. I would have expected to be able to have had the ability to trim the invoice templates inside XERO. But it seems that the only option would be to do this in MS Word.
What about those people NOT using MS Word???
We would greatly appreciate to have a simple invoice template design tool within the XERO software without having the break our head to get one done in MS Word! It doesn't make sense.

I have sent an email to support a week ago and have not had a reply on this very thing. Not only in the process painful but you can barely do anything. I came from Reckon and their invoice template is more professional looking and have customers who send me invoices from MYOB and once again their invoice templates are so much clearer and easier to read. Honestly for such large company who services many sorts of businesses having one template is ridiculous. Please Xero check out your competition in the way of templates and add some other options that look more professional and service your customers.

I SERIOUSLY NEED THIS. I can't tell you how frustrated I was trying to add very basic functionality: date of services rendered, hours, price, PO#.
These are incredibly basic things. So frustrating

When clients enclose their Xero-emailed invoice with payment, my toes curl. On printed Xero invoices, our company's info and important invoicing information is truncated by over-abundant white space -- it looks crummy.
I've looked into designing a better template for our clients, but was dissuaded by the fact that with docx files, the Preview function of Invoices wouldn't "show" correctly. Plus, we work in a Mac environment. So no easy access to Word.
I like the solution proposed by Chris. Websites are created with drag-and-drop. Why not Xero invoices? Long live WYSIWYG.

YES YES AND YES!!!!!
I was astounded when I found out that I had to pay someone who understood how to navigate this unusually clumsy option to do this simple task for me…..
