New invoicing | Send - Remove invoice amount from email
Please remove the invoice amount from the "New Invoicing"
This should be optional for set templates like the classic invoicing where you could turn it off and on. It doesn't look great and prefer the older layout of the emails where you could control the layout more.

Outlook with a PDF attachment is the only way to avoid this shocking in your face email. Very unprofessional to say the lease

I find the new layout of the opening page for invoicing extremely offensive and the in your face approach in bold font is not good for business relationships with clients. We will be looking at alternative solutions if this is not changed to the previous classic approach.

We have a client wanting to change accounting systems because he feels it is extremely rude to have the amount due at the front and in bold in the email. this should be optional

Totally agree, won’t be using new invoicing until this is sorted.

I agree 100%. This makes the email in New Invoicing unusable for me.
I either switch back to Classic Invoicing to send the email or I download a PDF and attach it to a regular email.

Please enable us to edit the whole template in the 'send invoice' page and not just the body of the email.

The bold demand for money offensive. It offends my clients and I would like to turn it off.

Agreed, this "in your face" approach is not appropriate for all businesses models, especially charites. Users should be able to control the information contained in emails as is the case in classic invoicing. We will be forced to find a work around unless this is fixed.

You should be able to delete this in the template before sending it out. Looks awful having the price at the top let alone in huge bold font!
I'm having to email the invoice to myself first, to then delete the amount and the Powered by Xero logo on the bottom manually before sending on, adding yet another unnecessary step to new invoicing. You should allow this to be edited along with the main body of the email before sending through Xero. -

100% agree. The invoice amount in the email must be removed or at a minimum be optional.
Because of this one aspect alone I have stopped recommending Xero to people.

Hi Kelly,
Thank you for all your help with the new invoicing layout.
Would you please ask the product team to enable a tick box, or the ability to edit the header of an email, to remove the value of the invoice?
Please see attached image to see exactly what I'm referring to.
Kind regards,
Andrew Chadwick

Agree! This needs to happen to avoid customers seeing how much they owe without opening invoices (and telling you they haven't received them).

Agreed. It's not a good idea for ANYONE to have the price as the largest thing on the email - drawing customers attention to the cost, without mention of what they receive(d) for this is a complete fail on Xero's part.
Why bother having email templates, only to effectively do away with them with this update - OK, they still exist in theory, but we now only have control over the least prominent part of the email.

I completely agree this needs to optional
