Improve Draft Invoice Review – More Columns/Filters & Next Invoice Button

DRAFT INVOICES
When reviewing a large number of draft invoices/bills, the current process is quite time-consuming because there is not enough information visible on the Drafts screen.
It would be extremely useful if users could display and/or filter by additional invoice line information, particularly:
- Description
- Quantity
- Account / Account Code
- VAT / Tax Rate
This would allow users to quickly review a batch of draft invoices and check that the coding, quantities and VAT treatment are correct before approving them.
At present, I have to open each draft invoice individually just to check these details, even when most of them are correct. Being able to see this information from the Drafts list would make it much easier to identify only the invoices that actually need correcting.
There is also an issue with the workflow once an invoice has been opened. After checking and approving a draft invoice, I have to navigate all the way back through the tabs to Draft Invoices again, find where I was in the list, and then open the next invoice.
It would be very helpful to have Previous / Next Draft Invoice buttons when viewing a draft. After approving one invoice, a “Approve & Next” option would be even better, taking you directly to the next draft awaiting review.
For businesses processing a large number of invoices, these relatively small changes would make the review and approval process much quicker and reduce the risk of incorrect account codes, VAT rates or quantities being approved.
In summary: more information/columns on the Drafts screen, the ability to filter or review by those fields, and a simple Next / Previous or Approve & Next function would significantly improve the draft invoice approval workflow.
