Allocate invoice payment to multiple accounts
The Problem:
When a customer pays more than the invoice total due to tips or card surcharges, Xero’s Add Payment screen forces any amount over the invoice total to be treated as an overpayment/credit, not as intentional extra income. This prevents me from allocating the excess directly to specific income accounts (e.g., Qualified Tips or Card Processing Fee Income) at the time of payment. In working with a client who uses Xero as their invoicing system, we’ve identified a practical workflow gap that may affect many small manufacturers and custom-service businesses.
The business does not operate a traditional point-of-sale system. Instead, they produce custom, made-to-order items such as signage and magnets for walk-in customers.

Malaysia E-Invoicing - Embed Validated QR code on invoice PDF
1st) I suggest on embedding the Validated QR code to the normal PDF invoice so that we can print multiple invoices at one go and our normal PDF invoice also consists of banking details and credit terms whereas the Validated E-Invoicing has none of these.
2nd) I suggest on putting "Send to MyInvois" button instead of copy and paste the e-mail MyInvois@invoi.ci for every invoice. This is too troublesome.
3rd) Regarding the Invoice interface on the Sent Column, perhaps can Xero make it into two instead? One is for the Validated E-Invoicing & the other one is for customer. The…

Invoicing - ability to directly select or highlight multiple existing rows for bulk editing like deleting & grouping of identical line items
Xero really needs the ability to select all, or at least select multiple lines at once. In a group monthly invoice, it can take over an hour to delete or edit lines individually.

whatsapp
Email is now so over used, that generating sales invoices and sending via email is so ineffective. Can we have a way to send them at point of creation via whatsapp. I am having to follow up our invoices by whatsapp, as so few are actually seen by clients amongst the ton of junk email everyone now gets. It is so labour intensive. (Generating SMS would be useful too)

Invoice - View full reference in Xero
Not a massive one, but would eliminate a really annoying thing.
On an invoice screen in the reference box, when typing any data that exceeds the box, the text doesn't follow outside that window. This then makes you mouse click into that box and arrow across to confirm what you have typed was in actual fact correct.

Invoice Import - Display warning for new contacts being created
Our practice makes use of Xero's ability to import invoices to do monthly utility billing and have found Xero's feedback notice / confirm import page to be VERY useful.
On this page Xero notifies us if
- any invoices will not be imported due to errors
- invoice number already exists
- any item descriptions and/or prices differ from the Xero org's listed products and servicesUnfortunately, it does not notify the user if any new contacts will be created on confirmation, as imported invoices automatically create a new contact if a matching one does not exist.
This sometimes happens…5 votesAppreciate the feedback on invoice import notifications. Hearing how a prompt for new contacts could help keep your monthly utility billing clean and avoid unintentional duplicates is really useful.

duplicate line
Ability to duplicate a line/line item within an invoice AND bill so that it doesn't have to be entered again and again. This will go a long way to streamlining cost allocation.
Loadable internal templates for bills and invoices to be entered for the businesses who layout complex invoices/bills.

Invoicing - Display customer overdue balance and available credits on Awaiting Approval page
On the awaiting approval invoice page can we get more details for each customer, like any overdue amount and any credit they have in their account. Currently you cannot apply a credit unless you open the invoice. This will save time and errors.

Invoices and quotes
We do very detailed quotations that are done from our quote / costing sheets. These are then sent as a PDF to clients. It would be really helpful if these PDF could be uploaded like a bill to Xero quotes and invoices.

Multicurrency - SGD Conversion Box for GST Compliance in Foreign Currency Invoices

I would like to propose a feature enhancement to support businesses in Singapore that operate with a base currency other than SGD but are required to comply with IRAS GST submission guidelines.
Under current IRAS requirements, when issuing invoices in a foreign currency, the GST amount must also be presented in SGD using the prevailing exchange rate at the time of supply. However, in Xero, when the organisation's base currency is not SGD, there is currently no built-in field or conversion box to show the SGD equivalent of the GST…

It's clear this is a feature many of you would like to see in Xero, and we really appreciate you sharing your feedback. For now, it is possible to use the Reference field to include the SGD value of the transaction. We’ve reviewed this idea and while we can see the value it would bring, it's not currently on our short-term development roadmap. We'll be keeping an eye out for more interest (votes), as these are a key factor in helping us decide what we build next.

invoice reference default set to account number
I would like to be able to check an option that automatically adds the accout number to the reference field on invoices. This would save a lot of time.

adding an invoice to a job in XPM
Currently if an invoice comes through to XPM via Xero Blue it can sometimes come in as a Misc. Invoice in XPM and not be allocated to a job. To correct this we need to delete the Invoice in XPM, edit the Xero Blue invoice and add some spaces and "dots ...". Then wait until XPM and Xero re-sync overnight.
Can we have the ability to manually add a job number to a Misc Invoice in XPM?

New invoicing | Send - Remove invoice amount from email
Please remove the invoice amount from the "New Invoicing"
This should be optional for set templates like the classic invoicing where you could turn it off and on. It doesn't look great and prefer the older layout of the emails where you could control the layout more.

Invoice reminders - Create a criteria to set based on reconciliation date
It would be an easy fix to stop automatically sending reminders for "unpaid" invoices when the business has not done their reconciliation for the relevant period. We find it stressful and time consuming to check all the time. I think sending a payment demand with the proviso to "ignore it if it has already been paid" is a waste of resources. It would be way less stressful and more efficient if reminders could be pending and only be sent automatically once the reconciliation covering the due date has been completed.

Having "Payment due upon receipt" line instead of the same date as the invoice was sent
