This is a critical feature for us at the moment because we employ staff under Modern Awards. There are too many pay rates to have to enter one at a time every time there is an update to award rates (which is often)

Is there any planned update for this feature?

A standard Payroll report for earnings and deduction pay items that shows the following on a single line item per employee.
Can be run for all Pay Items (separated with totals for each pay item) or a Single Pay Item
Usually not run or Ordinary Time Earnings but rather for additional items added with single line entry for each employee
Employee Name + This Pay $ + Month to Date $ + Year to Date$
Can be run for all employees showing all names and dollars
or an individual.
Can be run Last Financial Year, This Financial Year or a date range.
Some examples where payroll would want the ability to run this report is for management of KM reimbursements after tax which has a cap applied by the ATO. Bonus payments to employees, Site Uplifts, Incentives, Overtime and so on.

We have just re-done our chart of accounts, including creating new pay items to separate each department and staff levels within each department. We have to create each new pay item one at a time, which is time consuming. Additionally we have to amend the pay templates for each employee one at a time. Being able to export and import the pay items (like we can do with products and contacts), would make this so much quicker.

This would save so much time!

Request for a tick off button box for pay items where we can tick off the box of pay items that we need to archived and inactivate at once instead of going to each item one by one and right clicking the inactivate menu

We have just set up a new Xero for a different Entity name and have to export and import all data, but unable to do this with Payroll items, doesn't make sense. Exporting and importing Pay Roll Items across Xero accounts would make it much easier than having to create them all again.

can we please have a way of updating pay items in bulk
when items are imported via a different pay system the W1 area is not updated
and to do 100 items takes so much time as they have to be one indivually.
other items can be exported, updated and then imported back

Love this, Just setting up Payroll Items in new Company Files would be great. When its identical data accross multiple companies, I find it strange that this all has to be set up repeatedly manually.

A report showing Pay Items (or any of the Payroll Settings) including all the fields associated with the pay item.

Anything that makes the annual Fair Work changes easier would be good!
