    You don't need to submit a P11d from April 2027 as you will be payrolling all benefits, you will only need to submit a P11d(b).

    Seriously gobsmacked that Xero has not rolled this out. We keep getting decorative changes to the dashboard (which no one asked for) but things we geniunely need, we have to beg and prompt Xero to implement them. If HMRC is making this mandatory from April 2027, why hasn't Xero got it on their update plan?

    Xero can file the forms now, but it still doesn't automate the proration math for mid-year benefit changes.
    I’m an engineer/accountant and I built a XERO plugin to solve the gap by calculating the HMRC logic for you.
    It syncs the correct figures into Xero in seconds so you can file with confidence.

    Genuinely surprised this functionality is not available.

    Hopefully with the UK price increase in July 2025, the second this year, this is a regional feature that Xero can now invest in.

    Report required to summarise mileage claims by person over a period of time

    HMRC require P11D reporting on company mileage claimed for each individual each tax year as a benefit in kind. We enter mileage claims through the expenses system, the dates and the miles, Why can't we have a report that will summarise by person the number of miles claimed in each tax period. We do not use the Xero payroll, as this is processed by an external bureau.
    We need a simple report please.

    Agree 100%, its part of the payroll and should be a function in Xero. Its in all other payroll software. I'm very disappointed.

    I cannot understand why this wouldn't be part of all payroll platforms, it seems the only way I can submit P11D info now is to do it line by line by employee on the HMRC platform - this is so inefficient!

    Had I known this we would not have signed up for payroll with xero
