Organisations Settings: Ability to have other language in Xero

Ability to use other languages (apart from english) in Xero.

Purpose: To make Xero can be more user friendly to people who speak and use other languages.

    Supporting languages in the custom docx templates to the same level as the standard theme would be a great first step.

    For example why can the standard theme print out Thai characters correctly but not the custom templates, even when using the recommended fonts?

    Hello Bodo,
    Hesaab app is Xero interface it is mater of languages only, that's means you are working on Xero 100% at the same time and all your reports from Xero.
    we will be very happy to show you and all of Xero users with other languages how it works.
    Hesaab is Accreted application from Xero as interface and HR, also Hesaab is already existed and worked since 2017 for some other languages.

    Although I perfectly understand English I have to present my reports in the local language (French) for the tax declaration.

    I agree with other users about the languages. The xero accounting software should be available in atleast French. Even if it is the interface.

    We have spent large amounts of money integrating it with our current tech stack using the excellent API documentation, and now when we are about to roll out to a french speaking customer, but we hit a wall since there is no french language support.

    Please also consider that we need to also make xero support the OHADA system. That will make xero available to the large francophone West African market.

    Agree with other users. We have customers in all parts of the world and Xero does not recognise accents etc when importing and exporting csv's. This results in incomplete or incomprehensible names and addresses. Just recognising the characters commonly used in European languages would be a big step forward.
