Dear Xero Team,

Further to my suggestion on improving multi-currency reporting and audit support in Xero, please find attached a mock-up of the proposed Historical Exchange Rate Register for your review.

The attached document is intended to demonstrate how a downloadable exchange rate register could be structured to support finance teams and external auditors in reviewing historical rates, identifying system-sourced and manually overridden rates, and confirming the actual exchange rate applied over a selected period.

I believe this functionality would significantly improve audit transparency, financial control, and the reliability of multi-currency reporting within Xero.

Kindly review the attached proposal and sample template. I would appreciate any feedback from the Product Team on whether this type of enhancement can be considered for future development.

Please implement functionality to export a daily exchange rate report. Being able to quickly review average monthly exchange rates and balance sheet rates as at month-end is an essential process for finance functions. Furthermore, external auditors typically always request FX rates used within the business to verify foreign currency translation, so an audit trail is absolutely key for this. I'm surprised nothing has been implemented since it was initially raised in 2022!

Need to convert multiple EUR to GBP on a based on a daily rate but is done in arrears on a monthly basis, to being able to import the rates would speed the operation plus allow an audit trail

Auditor is requesting for the exchange rate report, please expedite as it is an important function

Can this be implemented asap as we need daily fx rate report for consolodation purposes.

This is required for audit purposes. it is painful to manually key in the exchange rate one by one in Excel and provide to the auditor.

Invoices entered in sales system in USD and entered into Xero. When running reports its in AUD. Need a daily currency rate report to do system recs at EOM in AUD based on USD

In addition to the other comments, daily exchange rates are needed when we have to perform client money reconciliations.

I hope this feature can be added to see all daily rates for a certain month in one place.

It is important that to extract the exchange rate (either in daily rate/monthly/yearly average rate)

we would like to use the same rate used in Xero for other reports outside of Xero. SO it will be gtreat to have an automated way to download the rates.

It is important that to extract the exchange rate (either in daily rate/monthly/yearly average rate) instead of only can be viewed the exchange rates for different currencies but only applicable to one date itself. It's required when there is a consolidated accounts or audited accounts.

The auditors require us to provide the exchange rate that is used when the accounting entry is recorded. It's important for us to be able to export the FX rates especially when we deal with many different currencies.
