Inventory Permissions - Ability to set for a Standard user
New Inventory Permissions - Standard user automatically gets full control of inventory. Is it possible to customise this like you have in Invoice only to View,Edit etc?
Could we please request further customisation of inventory permissions?
Under the current permission structure (NEW), a standard user has the ability to edit and manage inventory. However, if reduced to Invoice only, they can view inventory items (which is helpful) but they lose the ability to view all invoices for a contact. This makes it difficult for them to properly review customer purchasing history.
At present, the only way to allow visibility of full customer invoice history is to assign standard user access with no report permissions - but this then also allows them to add inventory items and process manual stock adjustments - which we do not want.
Ideally we would like
Access to view all invoices for a contact
Access to Create and Approve invoices
View only access to inventory
Is there a way to separate inventory management permissions from general standard user access - this is something new you have just developed?

Just to check in terms of the Invoice Only role that you'd be looking to assign your staff - Is this is the Invoice Only draft role? If they don't need access to purchases perhaps the Invoice Only - Sales role would be appropriate where they'd still be able to view all invoices for a contact and can be assigned the 'View' permission for inventory.

They need to be able to generate a report by date for customers - and therefore require Standard Role.
In turn they then have access to manage inventory.My request is to have inventory permissions for standard role much like you have actioned for Invoice Only Role.
