Statement remittance advice
Not sure if this is the correct category. Get rid of the remittance advice slip on statements. This was useful 10 years ago, but now, with so much being paid online, etc., this is an outdated facility. At least give us the opportunity to get rid of it.

Hi Christine, you can use an advanced branding for this and download and edit the Statement docx template where you'll be able to remove fields.

I would also like to see the statements have a running total outstanding along with aged debt along the bottom.

Ability to edit customer statement layout. I've just converted to Xero and find it a lot better than the previous program I was using, except in one respect. The customer statement is SO old-fashioned. It has the remittance advice cut-off slip, which was very helpful back in the early 2000s, when people still used cheques. Now, with online payments, it is not necessary and it makes the whole statement seem very old-fashioned.
