My Xero - Group client organisations on the organisations list
Bookkeepers and accountants often manage multiple clients, with each client having multiple Xero organisations (e.g. trading entity, trust, SMSF, property entity, or separate business divisions).
Currently, all Xero organisations are displayed in a single flat list within My Xero, making it difficult to quickly locate the correct organisation for a particular client.
Proposed Feature
Introduce the ability to create Client Groups (Folders) within My Xero that allow users to organise multiple Xero organisations under a single client.
Appreciate your suggestion here, Martha. We can understand how being able to organise your organisations into custom folders or groups on the My Xero page could make it easier to navigate when you're managing multiple entities.
We've updated the status of this idea to Gaining Support so we can continue tracking community interest. While we don't expect this feature to be on the roadmap anytime soon, we'd still like to gather feedback and better understand how customers would use it.
If you're an accounting or bookkeeping practice, similar organisation management features are already available in Xero Partner Hub, where you can organise and manage clients using tags and filters. If that's a better fit for your business, you may want to consider joining the Xero Partner programme to access these capabilities.
