Projects | Task Description to be used on Tasks & Expenses Invoice
In Projects - the tasks we add 'time entries' to and then invoice are set up in "Products and Services" screen. We would like the description entered in the "Products and Services" screen to flow through to the invoice when a "Tasks and expenses" invoice is raised. Currently only the Task Name goes into the Description box on the invoice but this is not adequate to send to the client. Typing over the top of the description is a waste of time and we do not want the time entry description to flow through as this is often too brief…

Xero Projects - Include Day in the invoice

Xero Projects - Add GST on entry of tasks and estimated expenses
Have the option to add GST (10%) on tasks (hourly rate) and estimated expenses when creating a project.

Projects - Track labour costs without generating an invoice
I would like to track labour costs in project without invoicing them. The invoicing is done differently. It goes per bag packed, but I would like to know how much on labour it costs to pack the bags. Thank you.

Projects - Add Project Start Date and the Name of who started it.
Projects- Add date project is started in xero and the name of who started it. This will help us to be able to determine how many days a job took from order date to completion.
We will also be able to tell who started the project if we need further information about it. Something like the 'History and Notes' in the Invoices, where there is a record of who generated the 'Project' and on what date and who makes changes along the way would be perfect. Projects - Ability to add Task Title then seperate line for task description
When I add a Task to a project I would like to add a Task Title trhen have a seperate section to Describe the task detail. At the moment there is insufficient space for this information.

The ability to notify (possibly by email) a user when they have been assigned to a project so they are aware they can start working on that project.

Projects Reporting - View future fixed charge amounts
Xero Projects Reporting - fixed charges to be included in Charge Amount column
We use Xero Projects in our accounting practice to track time / costs for client billing. We have some clients who are on fixed monthly charges (e.g. $1,000 per month). When viewing the Xero Projects reports to track performance for the month so far, the fixed charges do not appear in the Charge Amount column. It would be beneficial if the fixed charges appears in the Charge Amount column, given they will be charged.
