Assign tracking categories to exchange gains and losses based on the original transaction postings.
1 voteHi Kelly, thanks for sharing this idea. Having FX gains and losses inherit the tracking categories from the original transactions could make departmental and cost centre reporting easier to manage.
I've updated the status to Gaining Support so we can continue tracking community interest. How would you like this to work? For example, should the tracking category automatically follow the original transaction, or should users have the option to select how FX adjustments are tracked?

Projects - Closed Projects Appearing when you select to add a Project
I thought that once a project was 'closed' it remains closed and does not appear anywhere except in the closed tab of projects however this is not the case. I tested and was able to allocate an invoice to a closed project.
Suggestion:
a) closed projects remain locked out; you can only allocate to them if you re-open - they should not even appear in any selections
b) If they must remain where they are then a pop-up warning appears if you try to allocate this way there are no mistakes in accidently allocating to a closed job1 voteHi Kelly, thanks for sharing your feedback. We appreciate the need for a closed project to be locked or hidden. At the moment, Xero Projects lets you assign certain transactions to closed projects so businesses can clean up allocations after the work is done. Closed projects are marked as “Closed,” which helps distinguish them from those in progress. We have added this to the Gaining Support for more traction.
