Practice tools | Staff - user role templates for bulk assignment
The ability to create permissions for XPM that are assigned to a user role that is templated and then can easily be bulk assigned to staff within the practice.
Hi everyone, thanks for the feedback we have received about assigning Staff permissions from you all. While we are continuing to make improvements within the new staff and client experiences we will keep a close eye on the interest in being able to bulk manage staff permissions like's being requested here, however this is not something we have planned just atm. I will share an update if there's any progression.

In our firm, all staff have been added to groups, i.e. client services, accountants, smsf, advisory etc. Each group has set Xero access permissions, so being able to manage in bulk/group/team would be beneficial for us.
Request: To be able to view and update user permissions in bulk by viewing in table format.
Also being able to filter by 'Team'.See attached.

Please prioritise this functionality - it is really time consuming to maintain when you have a lot of users and even adding one new staff member is tedious to get the permissions correctly selected with consistency across the team.

XPM permissions for larger practices are time consuming to maintain and difficult to keep consistent. I have to open every staff member one by one if I wish to grant or remove access to something. Would be fantastic to have teams (i.e. Graduates, Seniors, Managers, Admin) and group staff together in their level. I.e. Managers can update client financial information, but Graduates can't. Admin can unlock a completed tax return, but seniors cannot. When a new user starts, I want to be able to select "Manager" and have the permissions set for that user group.

XPM Reporting - adding staff to reports - can we bulk add. Also can we somehow group staff into categories so we can easily add the group to reports for example a group called 'managers' etc
