Xero AU Tax - Audit report of deleted returns
We would like to have an option for a Tax Return that has been deleted off the system to effectively sit in a recycle bin before it is immediately deleted off. Would also like to suggest having the ability to see a report for any such returns that are deleted off to see who has done it and the date.

We support this suggestion and would find this extremely useful. We have a client that was denied Centrelink FTB's ($34k) due to lodgement of ITR after 30 June. Several attempts to lodge pre-30June was rejected by ATO. We finally got the return in post 30 June, but only after we deleted the ITR and started the process from scratch. By deleting the initial ITR we lost the evidence of prior attempts to lodge and the audit trail showing the ATO rejection. Xero was not able to provide a report with the info we requested in support of what we had attempted.

This would be extremely helpful to be able to reinstate a return that has accidentally been deleted or to try and figure out when and why a return was deleted.
