Smart Document Capture in Files - disable option!
I like the idea of the Smart Document Capture and being able to add a lot more information, but when I scan a document to files I JUST need to be able to rename it. You had recently changed the formal so you could have the file open AND rename it at the same time, which was fantastic, now you've added an extra feature and removed the ability to rename the file while it's open. Almost all of my Files are going to be "Other" and I hate that you've removed the ability to rename the file while it's open.

We understand that, while Smart Document Capture can be useful, your main requirement is to be able to rename a file while viewing it. We appreciate how removing this option has made your workflow more difficult, especially when most of your documents are classified as “Other”.

I would also like a disable function - I use my xero file inbox for more than just a drop-place for straight forward invoices, bills and receipts and preferred the file preview option with drop-down to elect how to deal with the file (e.g. rename, delete, create bill, create invoice, archive etc) than the automatic smart document capture option that I now cannot turn-off.
I have found the smart document capture is ok for simple or straight-forward files but anything that requires some nuance, it has now doubled or tripled the time I spend on that file. The data extraction is often inaccurate and requires further checking and editing from me.
I agree with the a smart document capture disable option, or alternatively return to the previous file preview screen that was there before this beta was rolled out, and have smart document capture as an option in the dropdown menu from there for those that want to use it.
