Files - Automatically compress or reduce file sizes of captured image uploads
Noticed the new files are saved as large sized images e.g. 4mb. The previous files reduced the file size to around 100 to 200kb. Handy to have the reduced file size as if downloaded can save to PDF and easily upload to other apps e.g. Job apps. Large files are sometimes not accepted to these apps. cheers

Hi David, thanks for highlighting this. Automatically optimising uploaded images could help reduce file sizes while keeping documents easy to view.

Hi Anis this is for files captured as a photo from the Xero App for mobile not an upload from a PC or Mac. When you select the "Take photos" option. Previously when selecting this option the files would upload at a smaller size e.g. 100 to 200kb where now they are 4-5mb. Try it out using the Xero app.
