  1. Hi

    I would like a feature in the short term cash flow where when a repeated manual entry transaction is made that you can edit only one instance like a repeated meeting in outlook.
    An example is that i have made a regular Money In transaction yet i cannot remove a single instance when the actual invoice is created and i am overstating incoming revenue.

  3. I would like to visualise how draft bills and invoices affect my cashflow, something which I know is not possible at the moment. This would allow me to predict how multiple open quotes & projects could affect my financing requirements. Could this be added in future?

  4. There's an inconsistency between different parts Xero systems. For example:

    New Invoicing has Autosave.
    New Contacts require us to use the Save button.

    Reports:
    Accounts receivable reports refer to Invoices.
    Accounts Payable reports ALSO refer to Invoices ... Xero terminology for Payables is Bills.

    Is there a reason for these differences and lack of consistency across the Xero platforms?

  5. Add an additional Update button to the bottom of Account Transactions report page (or any screen with an update button). Right next to the Save As and Import buttons would be excellent.

  8. I would like for Xero to provide more detailed analytics about the exposure my business has to foreign currency, with existing foreign currency bank accounts, bills and invoices, but also based on averages regarding how much I am spending and receiving in each currency projecting that out into the future perhaps over the next quarter.

  10. I generate a custom report for Project Timesheets and I would like to be able to rename the columns as sometimes we use slightly different terminology or we use the tasks in a slightly different way to work around limitations.

    e.g "Resource" instead of "Staff", "Role" instead of "Task".

    For some projects we enter a week's worth of time entries at a time, so they are dated at the end of the week, so I would like to change the column to "Week ending" instead of "Date".

  11. Xero Analytics Plus cashflow to show a year not just 90 days.
    The current cashflow upgrade from Xero only shows up to 90 day which is weird as in reality you need to forecast for the year. Is this going to be extended to a year like all the other cashflow apps ?

  13. We recently converted from Quickbooks Desktop and are trying to reproduce a "Sales by Customer" Report that sorts descending by gross invoice amount but groups the contacts within the contact group together. In Xero, I cannot figure out a way to accomplish this.

  14. I propose adding contact account numbers to account transaction reports in Xero. This enhancement will enable users to easily link and reconcile transactions with specific contacts, even when working with downloaded data in formats like Excel.

    By incorporating contact account numbers in account transactions reports, users can streamline transaction reconciliation. This feature simplifies the process of cross-referencing transactions and contacts, particularly when utilising downloaded data outside of Xero.

  16. Ability to show opening stock & closing stock closing amounts in the P&L on a monthly, quarterly etc basis.

    A function to allow to pick a Balance Sheet code or P&L code for stock and specify what balance to report in the P&L or trading account. ie. when running May 2023 monthly reports, the ability to specify that the opening stock is the stock on hand balance at 30 April 2023 and the closing stock is the stock on hand balance at 31 May 2023.

  18. Currently the report's filters only available to filter thing that " contain " in the respective categories. Can you please also include the option "do not contain" - so that we could produce report to omit things that we would not wish to include. Thank you

  19. We would like to be able to capture non-financial (eg head count) and statistical numbers (eg Order Book) in Xero and add it into Xero reports alongside the existing financial information for management reporting
    Currently it seems that accounts that are added automatically appear in the Chart Of Accounts.
    Could another Account Type be created that allows memo accounts to be created outside the CoA?
