Financial Reporting - Trust Beneficiary Header Update Automatically
In the financial reports, the Beneficiaries header shoudl be able to be updated automatically with the name of the beneficiary.
Having Beneficiary 1 there and having to edit it each time a report is generated is a complete waste of time for something that should eb automated.
Editing individual reports not only wastes time but also increases the risk of errors in spelling or having a standard naming process across a business.
Have raised this with support and its not available. Seems like it would be a pretty simple fix and something that should have been a standard implementation.

Customer List
Please create a customer list report with options to list the fields in the contact details. The export sucks because one cannot filter it or choose the fields to export.
2 votesHi Suzette, are there any specific contact details that you would be looking to get in a report? If you can share a little more on your use case this will help when sharing back with our product teams. Thanks!

Section 444 (5A) Companies Act 2006 statement should not appear on the Balance Sheet in full accounts
The Section 444 (5A) Companies Act 2006 statement ("the directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company’s profit and loss account under section 444 (5A) Companies Act 2006")appears on the Balance Sheet in the full accounts. This statement should only be in the abridged accounts for Companies House, The only workaround is to manually edit the pdf, which requires pdf software and takes time. This needs to be amended.

Balance Sheet Tracking Categories
Xero has tracking categories for Profit & Loss reporting.
Our single entity charity uses tracking categories to produce a profit and loss report by fund where the fund type is an option within a fund category.
We need the same for the balance sheet to produce a balance sheet report by fund on an ongoing basis.
For example, income and expenditure transactions on a bank account can be tracked, but not the bank account balance itself. Ditto for liability accounts etc.
This would also need a tracking option/field on manual journals.2 votesHi 👋 your idea is being looked into by our Community team. We'll be in touch soon to update you once your idea has been reviewed.

Billing codes and Reports
Have the ability to have separate reports for codes and prices for Billing items that is under Purchases and not lumped in with the Sales codes.
Not enough filter flexibilty within to see only those that you require to look at or amend without getting everything.
Not all purchases for bills are sales items for invoicing

"Last week" common selection date range
When selecting a date range in reports, please can a "last week" / "this week" common date selection be added?
2 votesHi Arthur, is there a particular report you'd find this selection most useful for? It's unlikely we'd add this as a common date range across all reports at once - it'd be good to better understand the reports this would be most helpful for you on. Thanks

Tracking
I highly recommend that Xero updates the system to prevent users from saving a tracking category without creating at least one tracking option underneath it first.
Currently, the system allows you to create a category completely empty. However, because it is empty, Xero automatically locks and grays out all filtering options in the Profit and Loss and Tracking Summary reports. This causes severe confusion, as there is no warning explaining why the reports are blocked.
Please modify the setup wizard so that adding a tracking option is a mandatory step. This will stop other users from facing this reporting issue…1 voteHi 👋 your idea is being looked into by our Community team. We'll be in touch soon to update you once your idea has been reviewed.

Sort reports by
Sort "Transactions by VAT box" by the sub headings i.e the Account and not just by Date. It would make it a lot easier when revieweing the VAT return. If I could sort by the Account I could go scroll through and easily see if anything has been posted to an account that doesn't attract VAT such as Entertainment or Insurance and ensure there are no transactions posted there.
