Would like to be able to have a column to show where the money was spent (bank statement info) as we find if clients choose a generic name in the Description, eg "Travel" when you are trying to review their coding, you have to click into each transaction to see where the money was spent.
We have clients that will often use a generic name in the "who" box and we cannot tell where the money was spent when reviewing without going into each one. We have suggested they use where the money was spent in the "who" box, but they don't always comply.

There are additional columns I would like to be able to add so that it would make my job easier when doing regulatory reporting. For example I need to be able to a total of 'Premiums paid' and there isn't anyway of doing this currently.

Be able to customise the transactions sheet so additional columns could be added

have a built-in feature to directly compare transactions with previous years or show previous year figures on the same report

And to be able to add location details for contacts

On the Account Transaction report would like to see in the filter to add 4 additional columns for better auditing purposes. Date Created, Last Date Modified, Created by and Modified by. Right now you need to go into each transaction to see the audit history. If would be nice to print the report and see all modified transactions and by who.

I support more columns. In particular I'd like Xero to add the 'Analysis Code' which could be pulled from the details in the bank transactions screen. This will help sort and see what was paid via Eftpos etc.

I also would like to see the invoice status on the account transaction report - so I can see paid vs not paid.

In trying to create clean and simple Account Transaction reports similar to the old reports, for quick reconciling of accounts such as Super Payable and PAYG Payable, showing the weekly Payroll Expense Journal entries for the month (as per old report with) without splitting the weekly Payroll Expense Journals into multiple payroll cost centres.
The closest I can get is via Grouping/Summarising using Summarise by Date or Summarise by Reference, however regardless of what Columns are selected, the output is too minimal:
- Summarise by Date shows the fields Date, Debit & Credit only, no References
- Summarise by Reference shows the fields Reference, Debit & Credit, no Dates.
- clicking the More option for either of the above the “Show opening and closing balances” boxes for “Asset, liability, and equity” and “Revenue and expense” are greyed out.
The options for at least one additional column of information and opening and closing balances is essential.
