Journal Entry Title Field - Widen - Make Bigger
In the new Manual Journal screen, please widen the Journal Title field. It is currently so narrow that longer, descriptive titles cannot be viewed while they are being entered.
Screenshot 1 shows the limited visible space in the field. Because I cannot see the full title as I type, my current workaround is to draft it in Notepad and paste it into Xero. The full title then appears in the page heading, as shown in Screenshot 2, but it still cannot be reviewed properly within the actual field.
There is a substantial amount of unused horizontal space in the new layout, as shown in Screenshot 3. The Journal Title field could easily be widened without disrupting the Date or Auto-reversing Date fields. Even extending it into a portion of the unused area would make longer journal titles much easier to enter, review, and edit
A journal title should be easy to enter and review directly in the journal—not require a Notepad side quest.
