Please consider the feature of being able to batch up foreign currency Bills. We often pay multiple invoices in one go, having to reconcile and mark as paid 10 invoices is extremely time consuming.580 votesHi everyone, thanks for continuing to share feedback about paying multiple bills in foreign currencies with us here.
As mentioned in my last update UK organisations can use our online bill payments solution with Crezco to pay international suppliers.
UK businesses can now use open banking to pay suppliers in 180+ countries, including in EUR, USD and AUD, either individually or in batches. Payments can be prepared by a team member, authorised and tracked in Xero.
To share further progress in the US we've launched online bill payments through Melio, which includes ACH and international or cross-border payments.
We've also launched a bill payments solution for AU with AirWallex that's currently in early access. This doesn't yet support paying in foreign currency however this functionality is high on our radar as we continue to develop this experience.

Bill Payments - Allow payments to be scheduled
When making a bill payment using open banking direct transfer from bank account, it would be nice to be able to schedule the payment - currently there is no ability to do that.

We'd like to share an update as we're continuing to expand future-dated bill payments across regions.
To recap;
- In the UK, we have Xero’s bill payments solution with Crezco, that lets you schedule bills to be paid on a future date using direct bank transfer, with payment status available in Xero.
- In the US, Xero bill payments with Melio also support scheduling a payment for a specific date.
Next up is Australia, where we’re developing scheduled payments for online bill payments powered by Airwallex.
We’re hoping to make this available to customers over the coming months, and we’ll share another update once this becomes available.

Ability to export Bpay payment batches.
Purpose: To save user time in exporting Bpay batches, as currently they have to do it one by one.
126 votesHi everyone, we understand the high importance of more flexibility in how you pay your supplier. As you may have read on our website online bill payments in AU is currently in beta, with plans to roll out to more organisations soon.
Once available to your organisation this agnostic solution, will give you multiple options of how your supplier receives funds, including BPAY as requested in this idea.
I'll come back and share once online bill payments become available to all Australian organisations. In the meantime you can find out more and sign up to the beta on our website. 🙂
