Hi everyone, we wanted to return and give a little more information with the update of this idea's status.
Our product team are currently looking into the development of adding the Pay now button to Customer statements which would enable your customers to pay for multiple invoices at once.
Though it's early days at present we'll keep you updated of their progress, here.

Thanks for your expressions and feedback in a bulk download or print facility for Files (either from the Files library or at an individual transaction level)
We know that bulk operations can be handy, however at this time we have no plans to develop this functionality. We know it might seem like a small feat, however often even small change is more tightly woven and intricate to solve beneath the surface.
While we understand this must be frustrating to hear, we’re currently focused on making improvements in other areas of Xero and are unable to prioritise a bulk download or print feature right now.
However, in situations like these there are often connected apps through the Xero App Store that may be able to assist. We appreciate and will revise solutions that could fulfil needs in this space, but want to be honest this isn’t something we have plans for…An error occurred while saving the comment Aileen Asche commentedI don't know of any accounting softwares that offer this feature so I'm not that surprised Xero isn't going to make it happen. In case it's helpful to anyone, you CAN do bulk downloads from Hubdoc or Dext or BILL if you are using those for document collection.

Downloading them one at a time isn't a good use of time so a bulk download would be really nice.

An error occurred while saving the comment Aileen Asche commentedI accidentally flagged this an inappropriate but that was by accident! I think this is very important to be able to import into Xero without having it hit the bank reconciliation lines. I want to be able to import all the payroll checks that were issued by paper check (entering as spend money transactions) without having to put in one by one. Then when the checks clear they would match to the bank feed or imported statement line. We can import so many other things... why not spend/receive money transactions?

Thanks for sharing and showing interest in how we can develop user roles to suit your needs when using Xero.
With many varying ideas for roles and permissions in different areas of our products, user roles impact all areas of the product. There are many factors we must consider when addressing how to solve for majority of our customers needs.
We’re in the process of conducting research on the current landscape and how we might approach some of the most predominant needs in roles for our customers. This being one of our highest voted ideas surrounding roles is a specific focus for the team. too.
Discovery of this work is its first stages and will be long running. There will be multiple phases of research and forms of engagement with users that’ll help shape the path ahead in this space.
We value our customers input and would like to…

Hi everyone, we appreciate the importance of being able to view and understand where billable expenses have and haven't been assigned. While we have keen eyes on the idea here, with other big pieces of work on the go we want to be open that this is not in the roadmap atm.
We want you to know we're taking on board all your feedback here, and will continue to stay across this, and keep you updated of any news or progress that'll improve visibility for your needs here.An error occurred while saving the comment Aileen Asche commentedThis would be helpful. There is currently no way to check to verify expenses have been billed without opening up every single expense or bill manually to see if it's been assigned to a customer.

An error occurred while saving the comment Aileen Asche commentedMy client would like to be able to create a quote or invoice for an entire project and then bill % or flat amounts against it. They would also like to be able to see the estimate for the whole project, how much has been billed, paid and how much remains to be billed. I used to do this easily in QuickBooks but I can't figure out how to get this functionality in Xero. I have tested out Xero projects but it doesn't seem to be possible there either unless I'm doing something wrong.
I don't really understand why you can have the "pay now" button on invoices but not on statements. In an effort to be consistent with our customers and make it easy for them to pay this is a critical feature!
As a workaround we've added a website link to the email template for statements that takes customers to the same place our "pay now" button does. It's not as obvious but hopefully will help make things easier for everyone.
