An error occurred while saving the comment Kim Watton commentedA projected leave balance report would be so beneficial for my organisation. Currently, I run the Leave Balances & Leave Requests reports then using my excel skills combine the two to try and predict the accrued leave balance of the leave requests to find out whether that employee needs to apply for leave without pay. This can take a full day depending upon interruptions!

Hiya everyone, as you may have seen we've released a new version of the Payroll Activity Summary report for AU and UK versions of Xero payroll. While it's still not possible to select multiple individual employees to run in this report, what you can do is run the report for an Employee group.
At this time we don't have plans for developing the ability to select and run the report for multiple employees, however we'll continue to track this here and update if there's any progress.

An error occurred while saving the comment Kim Watton commentedI too have to create a projected leave balances spreadsheet but it would be good if Xero had this function as a report. I know MYOB does

Hey community, 👋 thanks for all your support on this idea, I’m pleased to let you know that this has been delivered for UK Payroll initially! It includes the ability to select the date range you’re interested in, and check boxes to either select all results or multiple. Then you can download your selection as a single PDF of multiple payslips.
For users in AU and NZ we know this is a highly anticipated feature, however to be open this is not any immediate plans for those teams so we’ll leave this idea open. While we appreciate it doesn’t help employers needing bulk downloads, employees can be invited into the Xero Me portal to self-serve payslip collection.

Thanks for your feedback and interest in the idea here. We appreciate the desire for being able to enable employees to make these changes themselves.
While this is something the team will continually review as they keep developing Payroll for Australia, we want to be open that this is not in the direct plans atm.
If there are any changes or progress for developing this we'll be sure to come back and update you on this, here.

This is a must in basic payroll management! I find it outrageous that this report is available to other countries but not Australia and more so that the support provides an article yet nowhere does it say "not for Xero AU". https://central.xero.com/s/article/Employee-Leave-Liability-report
