Appreciate the conversations here. The other idea linked in this conversation that we delivered on was for the ability for information to flow from the Trust Return(TRT) to Individual Returns(ITR) which is facilitated with the Trust Income Schedule,
This is slightly different in that you're wanting information from the CGT worksheet to flow through to a TRT.
Right now non ITR's will need to create a CGT worksheet after the Trust Income Schedule, we appreciate wanting to see further improvement in this space for non ITR's to create a CGT event in a worksheet. It's something we looking to implement in the future but don't have a timeframe on atm. I'll let you know here if there are any changes. Thanks

Definitely need this feature... being able to allocate 10% of the net pay to a separate account is the ideal way to encourage saving... most of our casual employees are requesting this feature and we have to do it manually in Xero..

Hi community, thanks for your interest on this. While being able to move a Tax Return to another job is something we may look to do later, it's not in the near term plans. For now, we'll continue to collect and monitor your feedback, and share if there's any progress.

The automatic AS download feature in Xero is awesome! However, it's use is severely undermined by the fact that the auto downloaded AS's nearly ALWAYS end up in the wrong job! Unfortunately the Activity Statement is often sent to the client and e-signed before we realise that it is attached to the wrong job. Being able to simply move the AS to another job (like we can with timesheets) will mean that we can keep more accurate track of our jobs and invoice our clients from the correct job.

Hi everyone, right now the only way to edit a cover page in Xero is when you're publishing the report template.
Then you can change the Title, Date and Prepared by options. To further change the cover page, you can export the report template to a PDF file and customise it using a PDF editor. This would also be an option for editing the page numbers
We made some changes in Report styles for our new reports in 2021, though this is only for practice users - They now have the option to choose from four font sizes, and can add a text watermark to exported draft and published reports.
We don't have plans to develop this functionality further in Xero atm, but we'll keep you updated if our plans change.

What's the point of even having the capital gain sections in the Trust Income Schedule if it is not going to flow through to Item 21???? The idea of having the schedule is so you can enter the data from a trust or managed fund taxation statement in one spot to ensure all data is captured and entered to the correct fields in the tax return... if it is not going anywhere, why have it there???? All items entered to the Trust Income Schedule need to flow through to the appropriate section of the TRT.
