Hey community, just a quick update to let you know the team are currently working on this! We’ll pop back to confirm it’s been delivered in the new year 🌟
In the meantime three different payment services can be added to an invoice template. These fall under the category credit/debit card, Paypal and bank payments. So you could add Stripe, Paypal and GoCardless to an invoice template branding theme but wouldn’t be able to add both Stripe and Square as these are both debit/credit card options.
Alternatively multiple invoice templates can be created with different payment services, this would help in some of the scenarios mentioned by a few users in the comments.Admin Operator supported this idea · -

Hi community, we can see there’s lots of interest in this idea and appreciate all your feedback and comments. We absolutely understand the value that unapproving a bill would bring to your businesses. Unfortunately, while the concept is quite simple, the technical implementation within Xero is highly complex.
The good news is that our Product team is still keen to solve this problem for you. They have a possible solution and would love to hear your response to validate their thinking.
Put simply, instead of "unapproving", the solution would bundle the following tasks into a single action so that you can effectively "unapprove" a bill much faster.
- Void the bill
- Copy the bill
- Reattach any files (IF any) from the voided bill to the copy of the bill
A primary caveat to this is you could only action one bill at a time. So, if you had multiple bills that…

Appreciate your feedback, Peter - We have another idea you may have seen related to Contacts.
To give a bit more context, while we've delivered new versions of some features and areas across Xero, this work is enabling us to upgrade technology and we aim to keep iterating on each of these experiences moving forward.
Some of the points you’ve noted here are being developed, such as the ability to add an item from within a transaction.
We've also now reduced the number of steps in Quotes by ensuring items created via the link are available to select immediately, and we’re working to improve the experience further. 🙂I'm going to shift your idea to under review as these developments continue.

Hi Stephen, is there a specific report you've been running to try include this data?
When creating a transaction during bank rec, the 'why' is saved as the description of the transaction. You should be able to run the Account Transactions report to view this detail in the Account you've coded payment too. Let me know how you get on. 🙂

Hi Susan, thanks for suggesting this one!
Whilst not quite the same as having a button that's built in to the page, you can quickly jump to the top, or the bottom of a page using keyboard shortcuts:
- On a mac, hit Command-up arrow. You can then return to the bottom of the page with Command-down arrow.
- On Windows, hit the Home and End keys to go to the top and bottom of a page, respectively.

Hi there 👋, for the example you've provided here you could enter "701" into the search field which would search all unreconciled invoices that include this detail in the Invoice Number field.
While not a definitive range this'd enable you to focus on a group of invoices in a sequence - Would this suit for what you're after here?

It's not possible to directly combine reports in Xero, however it'd be good to better understand your needs here to determine if there is something that can work for what you're after.
Right now, you can use the Blank report to create a custom report of your own, or you could look to create a Management report pack where you can select multiple reports in Xero create a single pack of these together.

While not a direct copy to feature, you can assign billable expenses from a bill in Xero.
When you next raise an invoice for the contact you assigned the expense to you'll be prompted if you'd like to add these ti the invoice.
