    Thanks for your contributions and voting on this idea, community. While we're seriously taking on board your feedback for how and why being able to hold selections across pages would be helpful when processing batch payments, we want to be open that this isn't a focus area for product at this time.

    We'll continually reassess ideas where there's opportunity, so please keep adding your votes and interest, here. If there's any development planned we'll be certain to share this with you all.

    Xero, why not add an extra option to the 'items per page' dropdown?

    Having to create multiple batch payments and upload them to the bank separately is frustrating, simply because you can't display any more than 200 individual bills from within Xero.

    You can use Groups for this - I have groups for 15th, 20th, 25th, and Direct Debits. Assign the contact to the right group, and when you run your AP summary group by Contact Group and it separates them all.

    Hey community, thank you for your continued interest in this idea.

    Wanted to provide an update here as it's been a while since we last spoke to duplicate contacts.

    I do understand that, at face value, this seems like a quick fix. However, as the contacts screen interacts with many other parts of Xero, this work can not commence until the modernisation of other, related systems is complete. 

    Due to this, we do not expect support for duplicate contacts to be delivered in the coming short-term.

    In the meantime however, we're keen to continue collecting feedback and votes on this idea, and I will update you here as soon as there's more work to share.

    Database issues aside, the idea that a business won't ever deal with two different people with the same name is absolutely rediculous. 2 weeks is a quick fix, 9 years is simply ignoring the issue...

    We thank you all for sharing in the idea here, and understand there are many permissions that our Xero customers would like to provide on a more incremental basis. As you'll all know access to bank accounts is available to users with Adviser, Standard or limited access to those with Read Only roles - You can see more of the breakdown in our article here

    With much of the teams resource drawn to work on the platform that'll continue to help us with the 'building on beautiful' experience for our customers we want to be upfront that there are no direct plans for altering the user permissions in this space just yet.

    User roles and individual permissions within a bank account will be in the limelight once much of the platform upgrades are complete, but this is some way off atm. We'll return to share when there's any…

    User permissions are very much all-or-nothing, there needs to be much more flexibility with setting these permissions. The alternative is to remove bank accounts from Xero all together to hide balances, which is not a suitable work around.
