    Hi everyone, we know that consolidated reporting for multiple Xero organisations is a feature many of you are invested in, and we appreciate you continuing to share your feedback and insights on this idea.

    We hear that you need a more streamlined way to manage group budgeting, produce consolidated Profit and Loss reports, and handle intercompany transactions without the need for manual exports and external spreadsheets. 

    For those looking for solutions right now - As shared by others there are Xero app partners that possibly serve these and wider needs, and you can explore on our Xero App store. 

    We want to be transparent about the current state of this idea. While we continuously evaluate all ideas, work on developing consolidated reporting is not currently planned.

    Hey everyone, thanks for all your valuable feedback and support on this idea here.

    It's nice to see tips being shared throughout this thread to help others managing multiple assets. The suggestion to group similar items (like office chairs or laptops) into a single asset with a quantity can be an efficient way to handle things. When you need to dispose of some, you can then perform a partial disposal by updating the quantity, which helps save a few steps.

    Wanting to share an update for you all, although I appreciate it will not be the news hoped for - Developing the capability to bulk dispose assets isn't on our current roadmap. We will keep an active eye on the support this continue to build here and be sure to let you know if anything changes here.

    Thanks to everyone that’s shared interest in being able to write-off invoices or bills as a bad debt. We understand how a direct feature would enhance your use of Xero and flows when trading.

    As shared in our last update, while not a one-click solution we appreciate the needs expressed for being able to record bad debts right now, and have a Xero Central article that provides a way of currently accommodating this in Xero today.

    There are also other options that have been shared by members in this conversation that some may want to explore.

    We want to be open that specific bad debts functionality isn’t planned for invoices or bills at this time, but we understand the needs here and it’ll continue to remain high on our team’s radar when reviewing and prioritising their roadmap.

    Hey team, thanks for all your input on partial asset disposal.

    We understand that manually managing parts of an asset can be time-consuming. While we don't have plans at this time to develop a built-in feature, your feedback's really helpful in showing us where things could improve.

    For now, manual methods to calculate depreciation and record journal entries to keep things accurate would be the best option.

    However, this is a feature that we'd like to revisit as we plan our future roadmaps, and will be happy to share if there is any traction around this. Please keep sharing this idea with any colleagues you feel could benefit from this too.

    The inclusion of a "Quantity" field in the Fixed Asset set-up (that carries across from the entry into the fixed asset account into the draft in the Fixed Assets Register) would mean then you could go back and dispose of a certain quantity.

    We are often purchasing large volumes of small value assets (items for hire), that we don't want to have to enter individually due to the excessive volume, so we enter as a single asset for all items purchased at one time - but then have no way to go back and dispose of just some of those assets after a stocktake (due to loss/damage etc).

    Yes please!!

    I came here looking to support a request for this feature as we are often paying new suppliers and it is time consuming to have to go to add their bank details separately to processing the bill. Even more time consuming to confirm we have the correct bank details still on file each time.

    The function to check bank details as well as add/update details from the bill screen would be life-changing!

    Thank community, we appreciate all your involvement on this idea. We understand the ability to bulk export or print attached files would be a huge time-saver, especially for year-end audits, client communication, and general record-keeping.

    We’ve evaluated the complexity of this feature against other priorities on our roadmap. Atm, this isn't in our plans however we'd like to explore bulk downloading of files from Xero in the longer term. I'll share an update when we're able to give more attention to this, here.

    For the meantime if this is essential for you right now, you may like to explore third-party integrations through our Xero app store which could meet your needs here.
