    Hey everyone, thank you for all your feedback. We’re on a long journey to provide more granular access and controls within Xero features that our customers need.

    As you may have seen in some of our recent updates across other user roles ideas we’re currently in the process of adding more permissions within Reporting and Inventory. Further to this our research has highlighted Payroll and Banking as areas that more controls are most needed, and are on our agenda as we continue to develop permissions and access to features.

    Your feedback here and through direct engagements with our teams have been extremely insightful, and we appreciate all your inputs.

    I'll continue to provide updates on the development of roles for features as we progress.

    This critical.
    It has to be sorted out now. I dont understand the delay anymore and it is causing big problems daily.
    I hate comparing accounting software programs, but Pastel allows for this and it works great. Each user's access was done individually.
    As a FM I need to have a right to assign roles/functions to users and restrict visibility and/or editing rights for certain accounts.

    Thanks for sharing your idea, and letting us know the changes that matter most for you. Currently the History and notes Assurance dashboard shows the date and time for the year. We can appreciate that the Users - login history should show a period longer than 60 days, We've reviewed your idea and now it's up to the community to get behind and support it. Make sure you share your idea with any colleagues that this could benefit so they can add their vote too!

    Along with votes, other members can now comment to share additional detail about how your idea could improve their experience with Xero.

    We appreciate you taking the time to share and support this idea. We can see that this idea is already gaining traction amongst the community. Giving Invoice Only users the ability to send or print approved invoices has the potential to simplify your workflow and make day-to-day tasks more efficient.

    Enabling this functionality would allow the same users who create and approve invoices to also send or print them, reducing handovers and helping your business operate more smoothly. It’s a great example of how a small change can lead to better team autonomy.

    Currently, this action is available to users with Standard, Advisor, or Invoice Only – Approve & Pay roles. Expanding this to other Invoice Only roles, such as Draft, Sales, or Purchases could make Xero even more flexible for teams with clearly defined responsibilities.

    Hi team, we appreciate all the feedback this idea has received over time. With our reimagined navigation this is something our product teams considered closely, however there is a bit of work involved to achieve what's being asked and we want to be open it's not in the roadmap right now. However, we're keeping a pulse on the feedback here and will be sure to share if there's any progress. Thanks

    Hi community, we appreciate your continued feedback on having different default email addresses for various transaction types in Xero contacts, and the manual steps involved to ensure you're communicating with the right person for different purposes.

    Currently, one way of managing this in Xero would be to include every additional person on a contact record in emails, and then removing those that aren't required when sending each transaction. However we totally get this isn't the ideal solution.

    While being able to set different email addresses for differing transaction types is something we want to address longer term, like the idea for multiple addresses work for this feature requires cross-collaboration between teams in order to achieve.

    Once the multiple addresses feature is live this is something we'll be able to consider more closely and provide further updates on.

    Heya team, we're now actively testing how reports could be grouped and accessed, and we'd love your input in this, so we can design a better report grouping structure that supports role-based access in reporting.
