Like your forward thinking, Johan.
As Freya mentioned there is some AI going on in Xero already with the way Xero makes suggestions to help you reconcile your bank account.
We recently shared some insights with our customers on our approach to generative AI with Xero and you can read more about this on our blog.
Later this year you'll see Just ask Xero (JAX) be introduced and I'll round back to share once this is available.

Perhaps the Receivable Invoice Summary or Detail reports would accommodate your needs here? Omitting the aging periods this report can be filtered to only show the Status and Source(Receivable Prepayment, Receivable Invoice etc.) of transactions you'd like to see.

Can see what you're meaning here, John. I've made a slight adjustment to the title of your idea that I think might help others identify with. We'll start to feel the interest out here and let you know if there's any change planned.

Hi everyone, thanks for sharing your support for part disposal of Fixed Assets in Xero. Being transparent - current work for the team requires focus on upgrades to Fixed Asset technology.
However, we’re thinking of what comes next and partial disposal of an asset figures strongly in this. Please continue to detail your particular use cases here in Product Ideas.
As we continue forming the future of Fixed Assets in Xero insights from Product Ideas here will feed into the team's plans.Bonny Amemiya supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Bonny Amemiya commentedI would like to clarify that the title should be updated to reflect that this is a calculation rounding issue that causes invoices to be incorrect.
An error occurred while saving the comment Bonny Amemiya commentedI have been disappointed to find that the tax calculations on invoices with multiple line items are incorrect due to line item rounding, making our invoices invalid. At a minimum, Xero's tax calculations should always be accurate.
Currently, Xero calculates the tax on each line item, rounded to 2 decimal places, then sums the tax at the bottom by tax component. If an invoice has multiple line items, this rounding approach results in incorrect total tax amounts.
The best solution is fairly straightforward. Sum the line item values by tax component first, then apply the appropriate tax rate for an accurate tax calculation.
An alternate solution - if Xero must calculate the tax for each line item first, then round the line item tax to at least 4 decimal places, then sum the line taxes by category, rounded to 2 decimal places. The user should at least have the option of setting tax calculation rounding to 4 decimal places for accuracy.
Accuracy, especially with customer invoices, should be a top priority for Xero.

Payroll is our largest expense and not having it included in our analytics makes our cash flow prediction of very limited value.
Our payroll is processed through a single contact so an option to include cash flow predictions by contact would increase the accuracy for us.
