    I also agree with all above. It is important to have the bank description in the accounting record. I can achieve this by manually coding in the bank reconciliation itself or in cash coding but that negates the point of the bank rule. The bank rule is there to make coding more efficient/consistent.

    It fails in its objective if you cannot bring the bits of the bank statement that you want into the description. I cannot justify coding 2000+lines a month manually.

    This also feels like a very quick fix. Please Xero...when are you going to fix it?

    I’m very surprised by the fact that you can’t disable mileage. I’m a brand new user to expense claims and was spooked when setting it up to be asked for a mileage nominal. I was hoping that it was a set up quirk and I would have to offer it as part of the ongoing functionality. It seems this is wrong. We don’t offer mileage and all this will do is complicate matters and open up a debate. You solid be able to add this in rather than have it imposed.
