  1. I'm invoicing through Xero and I want to allow customers to save their card on file in my stripe account when they pay an invoice.

    This way, we can bill them again in the next cycle. We deal with metered pricing, so the value of the invoice is different each month based on usage.

  5. I normally send invoices to the main accounts email address and the person who actually ordered the service to let them know work is completed and invoiced. This was well supported in classic invoicing with a drop down list of the previous 6 invoices enabling to easily pick the appropriate person who ordered. This feature is not available in new invoicing and it is time consuming to search email address of the ordering person and copy to new invoice email, if this feature can be reinstated will be appreciated!

  6. create a remove and copy option (similar to remove and redo) which then copies all details from the transaction you are deleting to a new transaction to then recode rather than trying to remember all the details from the transaction you are deleting

    Interesting idea, Gary - will be good to get a sense of the interest in this. Can you share more detail of scenarios you're finding you encounter where you need to   copy a transaction to a new one when removing it? 

    Is there a reason editing is not an option?- Or would this commonly be with a payment transaction against an invoice/bill?

  8. When entering an expense claim you can only assign it to a supplier if you paid with company money. If you pay with personnel money the supplier field is only free text and doesn't list suppliers to choose from.

    I would like it so that we can search for suppliers and see everything that has been purchased from them no matter if it was paid directly to them or from one of our team members' back pocket.

  9. Quotes/Sales Overview
    Be great to search by account in addition to current fields. For those business that need to track quotes based on product or brand or account, this would allow a business to see activity and also follow up quotes from the one screen. hope that makes sense.

    Hi everyone, 

    Reiterating what Kelly Munro shared previously, if you're using multi-currency in Xero, invoices issued to a contact in a foreign currency will be shown in the currency it was issued - example attached. 

    I see there's been new voters over the last couple of months and was hoping some of you could add a comment to describe more specifically what you're looking for, if the example above is not suitable. Let me know if it is though!

    For example, do you want to see the ability to show the Customer Statement in a single foreign currency only?

  13. I haven't yet been able to determine what order checks print selected bills in, and they seemingly change their sort order if you select them to print again. Is there a way to control the order they print in to come out alphabetically by payee, so that we can more efficiently match them up to the letters they need mailed out with? Or, have a way to select how you want them sorted (i.e. by payee, memo, etc.) on the Pay by Check screen when printing multiple bills?

  15. The Quote information should come forward on the invoice whether you are invoicing from the Quote or invoicing from the Project Amount OR the deposit amount needs to show when invoicing from the Quote.

    It doesn't make sense that if someone pays a deposit, I have to use the project amount to invoice but have to re-enter all the quote information (our quotes are broke out in areas with a dollar amount for that area to be invoiced).

    If I use the Invoice from Quote, then the deposit amount doesn't show. I then have to work around the deposit that…

  18. When sending a quotation it would be really helpful if the system did not allow the quote to exceed the number of items held in inventory in the same way as invoicing does. There is little point in quoting for items that we do not hold in stock and we do not operate negative balances for inventory.

    Appreciate your interest in raising your idea. Being open this isn't something we have plans for right now. There are some industries where it is common to quote for stock that is yet to be purchased, without having to purchase he inventory in advance. 

    We'll continue to monitor the idea here, but want to be upfront that there are no plans to change this in the near term. 

  19. Tick boxes on the awaiting payment bills screen to remain after editing a bill in Xero.

    Before the new update to Xero, it was possible while ticking bills in the (Bills - Awaiting Payment Tab) - for a batch payment, to edit any that might have a slight error. For instance if you had ticked about 100 bills and noticed one had the wrong amount, it used to be possible to edit it, use the back arrow to go back to your Awaiting Payment Tab and all the bills you had previously ticked, were still ticked (or highlighted in blue).…

  20. In the old quote version, when adding an item it would search just by the item code which was great.

    Now it searches and displays even in the item description, so now end up with a big list to scroll through with description also showing, and especially as the font is bigger.

    Any chance this can be looked into and item search just looks at item code/name, without searching and displaying description,?
