Checks - make the payee name field only appear above the address field
Ability to make the payee name field to be placed only above the address field.
Purpose: To make Cheques look more professional, as Payee name only shows above the address field.

We are submitting a case today to Xero Central, when a Payee Name is changed/edited (adding a middle name to existing Contact) the PRIOR NAME prints on check as Payee, and UPDATED NEW NAME prints above the mailing address, wow makes us look really bad with our customer.

I'm surprised this hasn't been address. I am in the USA, and the standard here with postal mail is to include the "addressee" name above the street address. A fix here might be to have the Check Setup Feature allow a user to check a box to include the Contact Name above the Contact Address when checks are printed.

Were there no work around, this would be of "Critical" importance. I agree with the sentiments of prior postings. I'm surprised this issue has been around for over a year...as a new subscriber that's disappointing. I look forward to the resolution.

Need more ability to customize check styles. For instance, you can only have the name of the person you are paying once on the check. If you are using an envelope with a window, only the address can be used in the window. Our workaround is to add the name on the first line of the street address. Not a great solution. If there were more options to formatting your check style, this would be a mute point. Thanks in advance for your attention to this.

Since the payee name does not appear with the address when printing checks, it would make sense that the Attention To that has been set for the customer mailing address should be printed as well (and if there is none then nothing is printed). Current workaround is having to duplicate the payee name or attention line into the address field - which then looks funky elsewhere.

standard 2 window envelope has an address with no name to send it to!
