On the Xero mobile app it would make life easier for small entrepreneurs who are always on the go to update products purchased and update their inventory from a receipt that they capture on mobile app. This feature is only available from a desktop computer where persons need login from their computer to enter Bills or expenses for the purchases of inventory products. At the moment this is possible through the Sales invoices. Please make it available through purchases as well

  2. Bill entry - keep the ability to tab through and edit through the PDF of the supplier's bill.

    Note this is a request to keep this beautiful feature when it comes time to upgrade Bill Entry. The ability to have a PDF in mid screen while tabling and data entry literally 'through' the PDF and seeing the fields change is a huge time saver and contributes to accuracy and speed - this is something that maybe overlooked when the team starts to 'upgrade' billing as per invoicing et al.

  3. It would be great to have a warning pop up when creating a batch payment if a supplier has not been paid in ie 1 year. Recently a Supplier was paid however in the 2 years since they were first added into Xero (and no bills paid since) the business was sold and the bank account changed. Additionally if Hubdoc could read bank accounts and a warning pop up if they differ from that in Xero.

  5. The way an invoice displays on an invoice it so very different to how it appears on the Receivable Invoice Detail report - it is ridiculously different (and in many cases, unreadable).

    Can Xero please honour the spacing entered in invoices (for a reason) on the Receivable Invoice Detail Report.

    Not really understanding why this wouldn't automatically be the case.

    Thank you for your idea. While we appreciate the suggestion, we've decided not to add this feature to our current plans. For users with a large number of invoices, the report would be too big to be useful. This would really only be a good option for users with a small number of invoices.

    If you'd like to achieve this, you could consider using add-ons.

  6. When adding products from suppliers, it would be great to be able to add multiple suppliers details on one product (to save having the same item listed multiple times with each individual suppliers codes/costs etc). For example Supplier 1: Coca Cola Cans, Code: 1234 Cost: £12.99, Supplier 2: Coca Cola Cans, Code: A1244, Cost: £19.50. Rather have Coca Cola saved twice had sections within that product for multiple suppliers.

  7. Could the Accounts Watchlist feature have an option to have user specific watchlists? The accounts I want to pay close attention to as Head of Finance is different to what the Finance Assistant wants to see. Not all accounts are organisation wide specific.

  8. Business snapshot - link to default custom Profit & Loss Report

    We use a custom Profit & Loss Report which is default.
    Unfortunately the Business snapshot links to the standard xero Profit & Loss Report not the custom default Profit & Loss report.
    Can the Business snapshot be changed to link to the custom default reports?

  9. Hi, I would like to be able to complete quotes correctly please. So for example, QU-6767 was accepted by the customer. The customer later decided that only one line of the quote was required, which was invoiced. I would now like to mark the remaining part of the quote as declined.

    It would therefore be helpful to have more options for the quotes system, to be able to mark the quote as partially invoiced and the remaining as declined, even after the quote has been accepted.

    I create monthly reports of accepted, declined and invoiced quotes. It would be helpful…

  10. When you update the inventory selling price of an item you expect that this is reflected when a repeated invoice is generated. This is not currently the case. The price is ONLY updated when you edit the repeated invoice. Please have an option box on the repeated invoice that allows inventory price updates on generation. Currently waste hours and hours and make mistakes every time an inventory item changes price. Logged support cases about this for years but trying here now. Huge time saver.

  11. Currently trying to use the new invoicing, but I'll start typing a contact name then tab across before seeing the contact pop up, since I use this contact daily. Under the old invoicing, it would just find the contact once I hit tab. Under the new invoicing, a new contact is created. And since the invoice is saved immediately, this new contact is also saved, so once I finish with the invoice, I then need to go and archive the contact that was created.
    Can we change the defaults or something to fix this?

    Hi community, appreciate your feedback. Currently our team are working on some improvements to the To field in new invoicing and the contacts card that appears when selecting a contact. We understand some of our customers make use of the keyboard much more than the mouse and in reviewing the flow when using Tab the team will be making a change to make selection of a contact and movement to the date field smoother. I'll come back to confirm the detail of the change when this is released.

  12. The repsonse to my support case was to be told to post the bug here... seems a weird request, but sure...
    "The best way to get our product team to consider this would be to create a new product Idea on this, which is submitted to our product team who then go ahead and make changed based in priority."

    The santander batch file does not follow the santander format. In the past Santander used to accept the file anyway but they have now started rejecting it.

    Hi everyone, appreciate the feedback of the layout of detail in the Billable expenses modal of new invoicing. I've made sure to share your feedback here with the team.

    To confirm, right now the date column is still included in this view however if you have a few billable expenses to assign you'll need to scroll down and then will see a horizontal scroll bar so you can scroll across to the date. Understand this isn't the most obvious atm, and I'll keep you updated here of any planned change.

  15. What happend -
    I imported invoices with an invalid account number. When I went to review the imported invoices in draft, the new invoicing AI technology selected suggested account codes for me, almost to fast for me to notice the account code was blank

    Why this is important -
    The "review draft invoices after import" step is critical in getting it right - I should be able to review exactly what I imported to see where the mistakes are. I can see this being an issue with integrations where invoices are imported via the API

  16. You can only allocate payment on accounts to a customer ledger on Xero by clicking 'Overpayment' which is very long winded. Please can this be simplified to select the customer and then allocate straight as a 'payment on account' and then this can be allocated to the invoice once this is uploaded.

    In addition, if there is money out that gets contra'd against money received from a client, there is no way of coding this to the customer ledger.

  17. I've been using your Bill.com integration for the last couple of weeks and I already had to reach out to Xero support twice to make a simple change in Bill.com settings. This requires the user (me) to open a case in Xero which subsequently has Xero support open a case in Bill.com (and then Xero support going back and forth between Bill.com and the user).

    There should be either:

    1. a settings page within Xero for all the Bill.com settings and variables or,

    2. Ability to have credentials on Bill.com to update the Bill.com settings.

    Hi Gemma, while appreciate your idea and how you'd like to synchronize data between Saturation.io and Xero as we have an open API we generally don't build integrations with other applications ourselves.

    We have our Xero developer centre where interested parties can get information on integrating with Xero. Welcome to share this with Saturation.io to see if it's something they'd look to develop themselves.

  19. Currently it is possible to change the branding applied to invoices even after they are paid. It is not possible to do the same for a credit note which means that if there is a change in corporate branding that any credit notes that have been posted need to be recreated to be able to make the change. This should not be so difficult.
