AU - Payroll Activity Summary to show per employee
Payroll Activity Summary to show per employee, not just as a total for all employees. Currently you have to select each employee to generate the totals for 1 employee and if you have 100 employees, that's 100 reports instead of just 1.

NZ Payroll - Copy timesheet tracking
It would be great if we could copy timesheet tracking each week. We have a client that has extensive tracking for timesheets - with some employees having time tracked to a number of different tracking codes. It would be a huge timesaver to be able to save the tracking for each employee so we do not need to enter it each payrun.

The status of invites to XeroMe to be easily displayed
When an employee is invited to XeroMe, it would be good to be able to see the status including:
- sent to employee
- employee revoewed
- employee accepted
- employee rejected

AU Payroll - Timesheet quantities
Timesheets - aside from just having an employee enter hours worked against each, it would be good to have a customizable timesheet that other fields could be recorded against the day that are not hours driven. For example - for one day have the employee enter 5hrs of time worked but also another field for a quantity driver - eg; enter quantity of 3. We have one client with a large number of employees that are remunerated via an hourly rate plus a quantity driver. NZ Payroll - Edit the layout of employees payslips
We have multiple employees that have various deductions from their wages. This is causing the pay slip to spread accross two pages which is concerning as they may miss important information like messages at the bottom of a pay slip.
There needs to be the either:
1. The ability to change the payslip layout
or
2. Have two or three template options to choose from.Currently the whitespace at the top of the payslip could be utilised. The required business and employee information is great but could be in a better layout. Move the business information to the left, employee…

UK Payroll - Select or deselect all employees in a pay run
Our payroll requirements vary across the year as we are very seasonal. It would be useful to be able to 'select all' or 'deselect all' when selecting who to pay when setting up a pay run. Having to deselect about 30 of 35 staff one by one is painful!

UK Payroll - Ability to add bespoke pay frequencies such as 445
Add an additional pay frequency of 4-4-5 which is a very common pay frequency in the UK for service based businesses with hourly payrolls. Payroll is process in 4 week, 4 week and 5 week intervals over a year meaning essentially 4 x quarters of 13 weeks.

UK payroll - Ability to include additional fields in Pension Contribution Report
Xero cannot current cope with companies that have more than one pension scheme. The upload I need to send to the pension provider includes payroll number, pensionable earnings for period, start date and date of birth. It would be useful if Xero had the ability to add these and additional fields if required customised in the contribution report.

Average Employee Numbers in the Year
As part of preparing accounts, the average employee number is often required. If this could be generated within Xero that would save time collating the number of employees per month and working out an average for the year. It could subsequently be used as working out the amount of revenue attributable to each staff member.

UK Payroll - Seamless Payroll Integration with Crezco
To enhance efficiency and save time, it would be highly beneficial to integrate the payroll system in Xero with Crezco Online Banking. This integration would allow wages to be paid directly through Xero, similar to how bills are currently managed. By automating the connection between Xero's payroll system and Crezco, users could avoid the manual process of downloading payroll documents, uploading them to Crezco, and processing payments. This streamlined approach would significantly reduce administrative tasks and improve overall productivity.

AU Payroll - Leave Accrual - Correct decimal places to stop over accrual.
Xero uses 4 decimal places when calculating leave accruals. As it doesn't use the standard 5 decimal places, like most payroll software, the amount of leave entitlement that you record from this in the liability account in the balance sheet and P&L expense is more than it should be.
But the bigger problem this is causing is the fact that it is actually giving the employee more accrued leave than they are entitled to.

NZ Payroll - Remove Employer contribution field for employees on Salary Sacrifice
figures can be entered into both fields at the same time. It should not be this way. There is not enough explanation as to how the salary sacrifice options work

UK Payroll - allow employers who have received SMP advance funding to enter the amount received so that the SMP paid is not recovered, and the correct amount owing to HMRC shows on the Taxes and Filings page.

AU Payroll - Ability to clock on/off via a QR code
I would suggest that a QR code can be placed somewhere in the workplace and it can be scanned with the Xero Me app for start and stop times. This way the employees needs to be onsite with their phones to do this. With the way it is now, any start time or finished time can be entered, relying on an honesty system.
