  1. Occassionally a debit order fails/ bounces after a considerable amount of time, after the receipt has already reflected on a customer statement. In this case, I should be able to reverse the receipt without removing it from the Accounts Receivable account.

    For example, a debit order runs in March and bounces several weeks later in April, after the customer has received a statement.

    E.g. end of March they receive a statement showing

    Opening Balance 0
    Invoice 100
    Receipt -100
    Closing Balance 0

    When the receipt now bounces in April, their next (April) statement should begin with what the closing balance…

  2. Ability to remove value from online quote. This will allow templated quotes to be used where a total value isn't used and individual pricing is set per task. Dependant on the job there are specific rates per brick etc. Which is calculated at the end of a job bet the rate is set at the start therefore we need people to accept our quote (rates) but the total (quantity) wouldn't be determined until job completion.

  3. When a client emails bills into Xero files, they often include a note saying APPROVED or POST TO DIRECT COSTS and even- PLEASE PAY TOMORROW. At the moment I have to open the email, take a copy, email it back into Xero files and then attach that to the bill along with the original bill. Can a copy of the email be automatically attached to the bill when it is processed from files? It would save a lot of time.

  4. Please could you enable the option of re-ordering an invoice on the mobile app. Sometimes invoices need to be changed or additions to be made to specific dates. For example, if I want to amend my invoice and add a charge , I would like to be able to press a re-order tab, to make all items billed live, so I can move then up or down the invoice. It is not a new idea, a lot of payment software have this as standard.

  8. Cash flow flow to allocate the figures according to the invoice transaction, not the payment transaction.
    Currently, When a part payment is added to an invoice with multiple line items that are coded to different accounts, the amount is split to those lines based on each item's amount in relation to the total of the invoice.

  9. The 'new invoicing' option automatically removes any leading carriage returns and leading spaces in the invoice description field.
    This did not occur in the classic version and wonder why it was introduced.
    To enable the details of the invoice to be easily read, it is sometimes necessary to separate line items on the invoice and to indent the actual description.
    Can this 'feature' be removed?

  10. I need CN and (over)payment allocation lines in Account Transactions to be supplemented by invoice number as unique document number. Currently, there is a link through Reference, but Reference might not be unique entry, and so tracking credit note allocation is not impossible. Thanks.

  11. When amending the email which is sent when sending an invoice, I sometimes accidentally touch the screen, causing the screen to swipe down, losing the message. If you swipe down on the email, could this not be saved as a draft with the draft invoice, so I don’t have to start again?

  14. Is there a way to add another description line after a part payment has been made? Sometimes customers want additional things after they have paid their initial deposit.
    The only way we can fix it is by reversing the payment first.

  15. Invoices - Edit font, bold or underline, with a pop out feature

    Be nice to be able to do light text edit in the invoices sent to customers as entering the invoice.

    Eg. I invoice multiple facets of a job and underlining or bold each section 'heading' would be useful.

    A pop out similar to how it is now handled with online emails with a pop out would be very helpful.

    I understand that you can use seperate lines but nothing that stands out to the eye when you are skimming a multipage document.

    Appreciate the thought in your idea here, Tracey. Being open this would be quite a drastic change from the way in which branding works wirth invoicing today and I want to be open that we don't have direct plans for this right now.

    Good to get a sense of interest in this through the idea here.  

  16. Ability to track Sales representatives commission for each sale.
    Each invoice to a customer will require a commission calculation to be made and accrued to the reps account.

    Purpose: Ease of keeping track of commissions owed, and a pulse on cashflows

  17. Back button from the New Batch Payment window should take you to the Awaiting Payment window with the purchase invoices still checked. This has been lost with the upgrade to the Purchases window.

    Now, the "back" button from an open batch takes you to the Purchases Overview, so you lose everything you've done

  18. i would like to know if is possible to add a new field on the invoices dashboard to show the Account manager. at the moment there is number, ref, to, date, due date, due - all under draft. i would like to see AM ( account manager) without having to go into each invoice detail.

  19. The upgraded Quotes layout does not allow me to attach pdf's from the Files Section.
    The only way to do this now is to download pdf from Files. Open Quote and Save it. Upload pdf.

    This has significantly slowed down the workflow - please can Xero Quotes be able to add attachemnts from Files and before Saving.

  20. Profitability of projects not correct. We are setting up projects in Xero. We have found the profit figures are not accurate where there are a mixture of GBP and US$ bills. Could you please forward to your development team. It can't be that difficult for projects to pick up a translated figure surely??
