  1. Can you make the "Paid From" and "Reference" fields wider in the Make a Payment section of the bills and invoices? I like detail in my Reference field and there are only 14 characters that you can see and in the Paid From field, you can't see both the account number and the text.

  2. There should be an option to add the Tracking categories in the automatic fees from the Payment services such as Paypal, Stripe, etc. This is a small update but can save a lot of time in EOM processes so we do not need to do Find and Recode at the month-end for these transactions.

  3. We need to be able to send reminder letters through Xero but as and when, and to all customers, not just those that have fallen overdue since turning on the function. We have just migrated and have to go through each account and send an email outside of Xero to chase these so therefore no audit trail. This seems a key feature which is missing and easy to implement.

    Appreciate you raising the idea, Emma. To round back and confirm current functionality - If needing to send emails for invoices to multiple customers at once you could use the email feature from the contacts list view - See our Xero central article for detail on this. 

    If it's something you'd commonly do you may like this article in helping you set up email templates where you could create and save a custom template that you'd use when sending an overdue invoice. 

    It'd be good to hear if there is detail that this method doesn't help you resolve, that we can share back with our product team.

  5. Add a free text column for comments to the 'Invoices' and 'Bills' dashboards

    When you say 'Quotes folders' - could you provide a little more detail on where and what you mean by this in Xero, Kim? 

    Would this be when viewing folders in the Files library that may have been set u for your Quotes? or something a bit different? Thanks 

  10. Send Statements, Outstanding, Select Date.

    We want to send statements to our clients for invoices that are 30 days overdue - so if I put in the 28th February 2022, Xero brings up a list of all overdue invoices as at that date however some of those invoices have been paid so if I send out the 'Activity Statement' its not a true record of the invoices outstanding.

    I would like Xero to change this so that you can either click on each invoice you want to send out ie the ones that haven't been paid or Xero only shows…

  12. Invoices page, Please add a "Customer Dropdown Box" so we can just scroll and select a client from the list when looking for a clients older invoices.
    The current search box is outdated.

  13. Hi Xero, I would really like to request the receipt template can be customised just like to quotation and invoice. It is as important to my customer to see my documents consistency from quotation, invoice to receipts.

  14. I note there are repeating (aka recurring) invoices and bills.
    I would like repeating quotes as well because every year, we issue a quote to some of our clients for maintenance agreements or hosting agreements. It is basically the same quote every year except that the amounts are adjusted for CPI

Currently Unallocated Expenses in Xero projects just show the item line description Which can make assigning to an estimated expense difficult especially when you have "Delivery Charges" I propose a change so that once an expense is allocated to a project and falls into the unassigned it shows the name of the supplier

  17. Could we have a bulk date change please for when we are ready to send a lot of draft invoices or any in awaiting approval (and in the repeating 'payment due date' section)
    we rely on the repeating function but its a pain to go in and change them one at a time when there's loads, especially when they copy over into draft aswell, its a mammoth task

    i.e also an option for '30 days payment due upon receipt of invoice' 😃

  18. An option to see how many 'days' due in preview section for the new version of invoicing

    Could we have an option in xero please to select 'due 30 days' from when we approve/send an invoice ?
    In the classic invoicing when you preview it (before approving and sending it) it would always say how many 'days' it is due as well as the 'due date' this helps as we expect payment within 30 days of the customer receiving the invoice not 30 days from the invoice date.

  19. When a credit note is approved, the next page that pops up is the Allocate Credit Balance screen. This screen does not state who the customer/supplier is, and when creating multiple credits, it can be hard to recall who each one is to. It would be great to have the Allocate Credit Balance screen displaying the contact of the credit (the reference would also be great, but I have already voted for that one separately).

    With the new invoicing re-vamp this would be a great opportunity to increase the information on the Allocate Credit Balance screen too.
