  1. I believe being able to update all fields to show the word Estimate rather than Quote would be extremely beneficial. I have been able to update all except for the wording of Online Quote Link

  2. Having the option to include a digital signature in the report templates, the ability to paste an image into the text section would suffice for this. Useful for the statement of disclaimer where the firm needs to sign off every report. Currently the only way to do this is by exporting the report to a PDF manager and pasting the signature in.

  3. timesheet - indicate public holidays + add radio buttons selection for:
    1. pay as normal (public holiday)
    2. worked holiday + entitled to 1.5 pay + day time in lieu
    3. worked but not entitled (no extra pay or time in lieu)

  4. In the Xero App, you have to select a tax rate. It doesn't auto fill like it does on the desktop version

  6. I have been following a number of ideas, and it is apparent that some confusion often occurs when using the terminology 'Bills' and 'Invoices'.

    Could we have the option within Xero for bills to be referred to as 'Supplier Invoices' or 'Purchase Invoices', and invoices referred to as 'Customer Invoices' or 'Sales Invoices' to avoid this confusion, as they are in every other accounts package I have used?

  8. One custom template layout that could be transferred over all reports. We have multiple nominal codes for income and expenditure which means a lot of work to set up a new custom report. I currently have to export into excel which can cause errors.

  9. Hi, requesting an improved memo setting within payroll. Can we have more setting for memo? for an example a font, format (bold, italic, strike and understrike) and repeating memo.
    Example, a quite unique bonus system for a certain employee and we would like to show her the description for the bonus. we would like to put it on a smaller font size with italic format.

  11. ACCOUNT ON STOP!!!!

    It is useless to even bother asking Xero for this. I have been asking for 7 years to have 'Account on STOP' as a feature. Their standard answer is: You can set a credit limit that will hold the account if reached. They do not understand that an account may be well under the credit limit but it still an aged debt!!! The automatic receipt function would be great but, don't hold your breath!!! Strange - in the old days, company's looked after their customers and acted on their feedback.

  12. Consolidate Depreciation posted to GL per asset category - currently my deprecation is reflecting per asset in the GL expense account. The Asset Register and Depreciation Schedule already serve the purpose of the per line item amount and basis for a reconciliation. Duplicating the detail adds a large amount of data into my GL ,especially when the asset base starts to grow. Please can it rather be consolidated in the GL per asset category per month ?

We have to disclose certain information when issuing quotes and it would be very helpful if we could choose a template that automatically adds documents to our quotes as instead we have to; create the quote; process it; go back into the quote; attach the files and then send this out to the client. We only have 1 business manager and this is very time consuming for them as their time could be spent elsewhere.

  16. Apart from utilising the Notes function in client profiles, may I suggest a field be added for short term notes (not needed to be archived) to highlight an alert/instruction/warning for all staff when working on a particular client. As an example: do not lodge Tax returns for ABC until Paid.

  18. I would like to be able to have a remapping feature (similar to find and recode) but on a bulk stage. It is common that a business operation changes and the previous COA is no longer fit for purpose and updates are needed.

    This can be done by having a feature that presents the COA with a current a proposed column. The proposed is automatically mapped to the current if no answer is added. In the proposed there is a drop down item that allows you to remap all historical transactions to a different account or remap.

  19. It would be extremely helpful to allow the user to show additional rows for certain expenditure and/or income items, broken down by tracking category. In our small business, we run 3 or 4 events per year, and we like to track box office and performer payments via tracking categories. We would then like to show these as rows rather than columns on our P&L reports.

  20. To import a payment file into the bank the user must download an ABA or CSV file from Xero and save to their local drive. This file is then manually imported into the bank - this poses a major data security risk. Xero already supports bank feeds with many large banks so there should be an option to import these payment files directly from Xero into the bank.
