  1. There should be more employee options in the ultimate subscriptions between 20 & 50 employees as there are small businesses out there that will never have 50 employees on the books per month but have more than 20. Even if the subscription points going up by 10 to accomodate this.

  2. Dissatisfaction with the recent changes made to Xero’s file management system. Specifically, we’ve observed that frequently used files are now being archived, which is both counterintuitive and disruptive to our workflow.
    Files should only be archived when they are no longer in active use. Archiving regularly accessed documents creates unnecessary confusion and inefficiencies.
    This change will require our business to retrain over 100 clients on how to navigate the updated system—resulting in a significant and avoidable cost to our operations. We view this as an unnecessary adjustment that negatively impacts usability and productivity.
    We would appreciate clarification on the rationale…

    These enhancements to Files are the first big step in our plan to provide a great document management system within Xero with;

    • A more structured filing system, giving you a clear view of what still needs to be done.
    • Streamlining the reconciliation and review workflow by allowing side by side preview and a clear distinction between documents needing action vs those that have been attended to.
    • Paving the way for future enhancements and functionality that have been highly requested by our customers

    We appreciate it may take a little time to adjust to the changes, but believe these changes will provide more benefit in the long term for managing documents.

  3. NEW DISPLAY FONTS - CAN'T STAND THEM.

    Xero has changed all the display fonts and this is a major change to how everything looks and reads. Xero should ask users if they want the legacy fonts and display or the new one. Fonts and display make a massive difference and Xero should not underestimate how much difference they make to customer's lives. This is much harder for me to read and for me a significant degrade in how i see the product

    Sorry to hear you don't like the font changes with the new navigation, Nick. I have shared this back to our product team.

    I want to assure you that the teams did a lot of testing and research of the navigation changes to ensure the experience would suit majority of users. While I will move your post here to Feedback, if there are specific changes that you feel could improve the font for you please start a new idea and we can get a sense of the interest in this build throughout the community here.   5. We are currently unable to update or change the superannuation authoriser details in our Xero account. Despite following the available steps under Payroll , the option to edit or update the authoriser details is not accessible.

    Kindly assist us with the process to update the authoriser’s information for superannuation payment

    Pease guide us and resolve this issue asap

  6. I'd like to be able to report on all statement history and notes, not just for one Contact at a time, but for all at once. For example, I'd like to be able to see how many Account Statements were issued in the last xx days, which contacts they were sent to etc. across my entire organisation. Looking for this, one Contact at a time, is excruciating...

    Hey Brendan, thanks for raising this Idea with us, we really appreciate our customer input. This is not an idea we are looing at currently but we have passed your interest along to the product team. Again we appreciate the feedback and the time you have taken to raise this with us. A work around for this is running the Accounts Receivable or Aged receivable details reports. ⭐️

  7. Hi
    We generate 'One Supplier Purchase Order' for every 'One Customer Invoice'.
    We are seeking a report / feature where one can quick and easy match the two, e.g. as per attached image.
    It is a time-consuming exercise to ensure every invoice has a respective purchase order, i.e. close the loop.
    Is there an existing idea that is similar to our requirement, or perhaps a solution available ?

    Hey Peter, thanks for bringing this to our attention, however, this feature is available in the Payable Invoice Detail report where you can add a column called Order Number. It may be that this is not working as expected though and we would appreciate it if you could raise a case with Xero Support again and ask them to raise this as an issue so the Product team can investigate any issues,

  8. Option to apply variable stripe surcharge automatically to invoices where customers pay by credit card. Currently you can apply a set surcharge within invoice settings (for most credit cards this is 1.5% and we absorb the 20p per transaction fee). However the surcharge for international cards and premium cards is much higher. There should be the capability to charge the customer the actual amount paid in fees based on credit card used.

    Hey Hannah, thanks for raising this Idea with us we cant build a better product without customer input! However in this case its not possible to adjust the reimbursement fee at the point of payment option (credit card application) as the reimbursement fee is set in the Xero settings and not at the point when the customer pays. You will need to update the setting in Xero to adjust for a payment with an international or premium cards are expected (Tap to Pay). We will pass this Feedback to our Product team but its not something we are looking at currently.

  10. GST Return Layout - Ability to filter by date
    GST Return Layout - Late Claim in a seperate tab

    The New GST layout doesn't have a seperate tab for "Late Claims" meaning everytime I have to create a breakdown for a client I have to delete all the other transactions for income & expenses. I can see you can filter by "late claims" but we don't want to have to export and manipulate the data when sending the documents to clients.
    Additionally when we do filter the dates don't filter by date because the format is 07-10-2025 instead of 07/10/2025…

  11. Bank transaction lines created via API are immediately in AUTHORISED status.

    I propose an optional DRAFT status.

    A draft transaction is available for reconciliation, but it only becomes authorised at the point that it is reconciled.

    This would allow for creating transactions via API but these only actually affecting the company accounts when a human gets in the loop to reconcile it with a real statement line.

    Thanks for raising this Idea with us Virgil. To clarify how an API work, the API integration creates the payments that are applied to invoices or bills which creates the account transaction that matches to the bank statement line to reconcile. You cannot apply a draft payment to an invoice or bill, so a draft account transaction is not possible for the payment process. We will pass your Feedback onto our Product team though, and as always we appreciate our customers input ✨

  12. Please reduce the amount of screen clutter. Example shown. This is pointless information and not needed. It interferes with the flow of the already terrible new invoicing. There should be an option to hide this.

    Hi Grant 👋, thanks for sharing your feedback on the Xero Accounting iOS app keyboard options. We appreciate you explaining how a numeric keyboard could help when entering account codes. After reviewing this idea, we’ve moved it to Feedback status. The numeric keyboard does appear when you are entering in a number only field (quantity and price) and as many people type the name for the account code (category) the option is to switch to a numeric keyboard. Thanks again for helping us improve the app. Your feedback helps us prioritise enhancements that make data entry faster on mobile.

  14. When entering payment details for a bill in the new interface, the payment dropdown only shows 5 items when clicked, however there are 6 items total. It turns out that the sixth item was hidden and required scrolling to be revealed.

    There was no visual hint (scroll bars, arrows, chevrons, etc...) to indicate that there were more items in the list and that I needed to arrow down or use the scroll wheel to see the final list item.

    I know that this might seem small but I thought that somehow one of my payment accounts had become disconnected in…

  15. Can an employee have more than one employee group and can tax and super payments be broken down into employee groups. We have NFP organisation that received funding from different areas. Employees work for up to 4 different groups each pay period. We need to be able to split Wages in 4 groups as well as the pagyw and superannuation. Is this going to be addressed in the future. Trying to get away from MYOB but it has these options.

    Having multiple groups for each employee and assigning different employee groups for tax and super payments are different areas of Xero. Please create separate ideas for each feature and/or area of Xero you'd like to see this developed for, so we can gauge support and keep users updated.

  16. In the pay employee screen the total hours would show in the earnings box alongside Total earnings. Another way would be for approved leave to show in the timesheet screen.

  18. Sync with HubSpot Contacts is only one way From Xero

    To me this does not follow the flow of contact, address and product data from Lead to Opportunity to Deal - which is upstream of Xero which tracks revenue. I am expected to add contacts in two places HubSpot which owns and manages all contacts for the company in their various roles for Client Relationship Management, but I have to then switch to Xero to add a Billing Contact and Address (very old school and poor UX data entry process BTW) and sync that back to Hubspot where all onboarding…

  19. A permissions setting to control whether or not a user can create a new "product and service" would be valuable. Too many user creating new products, services and SKUs leads to a mess.
