Bank Reconciliation - Show more statement lines per page
Ability to show more statement lines during reconciliation in one page.
Purpose: To save users time from scrolling and changing the page.
Hi everyone
We wanted to provide you an update on our progress for this idea as it’s very much something we want to make easier for you all. The feedback you’ve provided so far has been helpful. One of the big problems our Product team identified in this thread and in other customer research is how hard it is for customers to navigate their statement lines to gain a holistic view of the work they need to do and complete their work flows efficiently.
I’m pleased to share that they’re in the early stages of developing a solution that will help to improve this experience by combining a search tool with an increased number of statement lines being returned to the page.
The product team has a working concept and are looking to validate this with some customers before working out the final details. If you’re interested in participating, please register your interest here. Given the popularity of this idea we expect spaces to fill up fast. Update: we have since closed the form as we have enough interest. We also want to make sure we test our concept with a wide range of customers, so you might not be selected for testing depending on the level of interest we receive.
As we know this is an eagerly anticipated idea, we’ll be sure to return here and share the progress.

This would made a huge difference to us, and it seems very easy to implement.
If the issue is overhead, then at least have a "show 10 more" button at the bottom of the page that loads them in directly on the same page - this would save you overheads as we wouldn't have to constantly be flicking backwards and forwards through the pages to find the transaction we're looking for.

It would be beneficial to be able to choose how many statement lines we want to view/ reconcile at any given time. Ideally, I'd prefer to view a full month of statement lines per page as I reconcile my accounts per month at a time. All statement lines per calendar month viewable on one page... perfect.

I agree. The whole bank reconciliation screen needs an overhaul. It's rubbish.

Would make the process so much better instead of going back and forth.

It would make a huge difference to me!

Have the 'Showing number of items per page' on the bank reconciliation screen to increase number of transactions in view. This option is available on the bank statements tab and also the account transactions but not the reconcile tab. Would be helpful to be able to view more than 10.

I agree entirely, I thought that would be a natural progression when they gave us the toggle for compact view!

Fully agree, it's a pointless function to only show 10/15/20 lines etc - and this applies to all screens within Xero e.g. account transactions within nominal codes etc. It's very rare that you don't want to see all transactions - so would be better if default was all data showing, and you could then reduce down to less lines if you wanted to. Something that definitely needs to be sorted Xero!

It's time consuming having to jump between various pages of 10 transactions, where with the option for 50, 100, 200 or all I could speed up the data processing.

Because I cannot change to 'show all' I cannot scan down the list to find all of the 'easy' transactions to categorise. This is very annoying.

Allow for more than 10 lines to be viewed when Reconciling statement lines.
Purpose: To more easily and quickly search for transactions by spend amount or payee using Ctrl+F on a single page.

Yes I agree, options like 50, 100, 200 would be awesome. Showing All would be good too.
