UK Payroll - Leave Balances Report
Create the report "Leave Balances". This report is available in the AUS version of Xero and is useful when calculating annual leave expense
Hi everyone, we have an exciting opportunity for a few customers to meet some of our Xero team who are working hard to improve payroll for you.
You'd get a chance to tell us your honest experience with using Xero for payroll, as well as get a tour of the Xero London office!
If this sounds like something you'd be interested in and are available on Monday Sept 30, 1:45 - 3:15pm and could come into our Xero London office, add your details through our form.
Spaces are limited so sign up as soon as you can.🙂 If you don't get the chance this round our team may reach out when another opportunity arises.

Still desperately need this to get a balance report - not leave hours already taken

Although there are relatively few votes on this, I would place a bet that the majority of UK Payroll Admins would find this report a critical part of their leave management.

How do loyal customers living in Australia participate?

This is such an important report for the hospitality clients that I assist with. without this there is no point brining them over to Xero payroll.
Thanks

A Leave Balance report would be very very useful, so please could this be something that you develop as soon as possible. Thank you.

Leave balances report is a basic requirement for managing annual leave, please

More and more clients are requesting this report, unfortunately there is no facility to enable us to create a report as a customised report. It will significantly assist employers to calculate the financial cost of accrued holidays for their business planning.

It would be appreciated if this can be created ASAP as it is a time consuming process to track this outside of Xero payroll.

Everyone needs to click link above to get the votes up again as Xero has not transferred the 84 votes above to the new link so the vote count has started again and is only 12 this is not right. There are also 76 votes on a similar request which now also points to new link but again the 76 votes have now been lost !!!

No sense as to why this is not availble in uk surely this can just be copied across to some extent the work has already been done. We currently use a separate system for holidays which we shouldnt have to do

Us - "Hey guys. We really need a sandwich. The Aussies and Kiwis have a sandwich and that looks like exactly what we need."
Xero - "Sure, here is some flour, yeast and water. And a live pig. That's what you asked for, right?"

How is a leave transactions report the item prioritised on the product roadmap for the UK xero product when the AU version has had payroll leave balances available as a report for years? Finance people need to manually calculate leave entitlements for their staff, Xero is surely better than this.

yes please, this report is very needed and would be tremendously useful

I don't understand why the leave report is not available in the UK yet it is available for my AU entity?

Essential for our business we are now considering going elsewhere. -
Paula Metcalfe commented
Absolutely critical for our reporting

Chris Baldwin commented
This is so fundamental to reporting.
I don’t understand why we need to ask!! -

We have stopped using Xero Leave because of weaknesses like this (including the challenge of managing leave in hours - which is meaningless to employees) - and we now have to pay for a separate system.
