This is removing functionality required for our business processes. This is not a product idea. You have taken a feature from the product that we require to continue with this software.

I have noticed if I use the new version and hit the (add last item) button for it to repopulate the fields. It doesn’t enter the item abbreviation. It enters some but not all. On the previous version (Classic) it does

Being able to use Tab, Enter, up and down arrows is essential. I am spending so much time having to re-do lines that have gone somewhere else...an now, it makes a difference where I leave my mouse...If I would usually use say 6 down arrows to select an item, if the mouse just happens to be on the third item, it just reverts back to the third item again and again...and I'm going around in circles.

The new invoicing is clunky, takes more time for each item to load the options, takes more time to create invoices with more clicks...
I do most of my invoicing using muscle memory...I know how many clicks/tabs etc I need, so my invoicing is 99% accurate, every time...now, in new invoicing, each invoice often takes double the time, as I have to check my work with a fine tooth comb, and fix all the mistakes.
Time is money...I get paid to do the job, rather than an hourly rate, and now I am spending so much more time, time I do not have, as I also need to go to my other jobs too.

I also need to see the Product Code when looking at an invoice on the screen. We have multiple suffixes of each code, depending on the customer, and it is essential that I can quickly look at the screen to make sure that I have selected the correct code for the customer, rather than having to print the PDF on screen.

Also...there is always more...when creating an invoice in new invoicing, I can't see the whole screen like I can in Classic invoicing. I have a big triple A4 sized screen, and use two thirds for my Xero screen, and one third for the security camera viewing, and I still can't see the whole invoice, unless I zoom out so much that the Xero text is super small, and very difficult to read.

Please can we have the option to add a new line in 5's and 10's like the Classic Invoicing. I can have anywhere up to 50 lines on an invoice, and this helps me keep track of where I am up to.

Please can we have a user friendly interface BEFORE you turn off the Classic Invoicing.

Please add this back in as soon as possible!

i also agree on this. it is a critical part of our invoicing. we need to be able to see the item codes when invoices have been approved. and even as important the ability to copy and paste from those fields.

please add "item codes that can be copied" back to invoicing

this is critical for us as we have lots of customer who repeatedly order same products. it is easy to look at previous invoices and see what product they require. if items are not displayed we will be loosing lots of time finding the parts required

Please provide the option display the item code on Invoices as this is essential to help us track items.

After one day using this new mode (I've now gone back to Classic) as on top of losing the ESSENTIAL product code which the majority of businesses need every day, I've also noticed that in classic mode I can easily use "Tab" to get around and arrow down to select customers and products, now with the new invoicing system, I am finding that I need to use the mouse to click as the ease of maneuverability has gone. Also several items when you add them are instead of defaulting to quantity of "1" defaulting to "0". And once you approve and email an invoice you have to scroll down the page (as it is too large for the screen) to hit send and then once the email is sent, the option to create a new invoice disappears.

This new and improved system is NOT improved at all. It has gone backwards fast!

It is critical for us to have codes visible on the approved invoices .
We need them displayed the same as in the drafts, I have stopped using the new invoicing system for that reason after half a day of using it.

This is critical for us too. We have multiple item codes with different suffixes for different customers, so it is essential that this stays please. I agree with others...we don't need pretty, we need functional...so far, this is costing me so much more time trying to switch to new invoicing, which is costing me more money to run the business. If it aint broke, don't fix it!! Please.

With this column missing we now have to keep either selecting edit or review to see what all the items are about. What a mess!

We received a message today that old invoicing will be switched off on 01 Sep so took a serious look at NEW INVOICING.
Cannot believe that this has been done. Critical for us (and I would have thought most businesses) to be able to see Product Code without having to go in to EDIT mode.
I am sure the votes will go up dramatically when people start trying to use this

I can't believe that there are only 16 votes so far - surely there must be hundreds of businesses that need this fixed?!?

As far as we are concerned, the "new invoicing" is not fit for purpose until this is fixed.

Absolutely critical, please don't make us use New Invoicing until product code is included in the same way as Old Invoicing!

We regularly refer to the item codes feature for our customer product purchase information. We need to access this information quickly however, the new invoicing does not allow for this information to be readily available.

Displaying the item code is a must for us. Removing this is not an improvement the current ability to view this column must remain. Viewing this details on current and historical invoices is a function we use all day every day. This needs to be rectified prior to enforcing the use of the new invoice functionality.
