Inventory Plus - Roll out Xero Inventory Plus to all countries

As a Group Financial Administrator at an IT company operating in South Africa, I am writing to request the expansion of Xero Inventory Plus to regions outside the US.

Our business relies heavily on accurate, real-time inventory tracking across multiple locations, and we currently face limitations due to the unavailability of Inventory Plus in our region.

Suggested Features to Prioritize:

  1. FIFO and batch/serial tracking
  2. Multi-location inventory management
  3. Barcode scanning and sticker generation
  4. Real-time inventory valuation and reporting

Business Impact:

Rolling out Inventory Plus globally would empower businesses like ours to:

  1. Improve inventory accuracy and reduce losses
  2. Enhance financial reporting and compliance
  3. Scale operations without needing third-party inventory platforms

Call to Action:

Please consider expanding access to Xero Inventory Plus to international markets. We are eager to adopt this solution and contribute feedback to help tailor it to global needs.

    This is absolutely essential to us, we are actively looking to change from Xero because it's lacking this and with a business with almost £3m turnover, this is just not acceptable due to the limited functionality of the current inventory system

    We can only echo how much this would help us as a small independent veterinary business, trying to make our business better able to compete with large corporations on a non-level playing field! We chose Xero as an agile partner in this - hoping it gives us an edge in reporting and efficiency. Batch and expiry date tracking would be a great feature, as would tagging of products for easy reporting.

    I would like to throw in my full weight on this and kindly request for the rollout of this functionality at the earliest. We are an Automotive Dealer in Zimbabwe and our distributor sales is solely reliant on Consignment stock to Distributors across the country. We currently have 96 Distributors that carry our stock on Consignment. Trying to manage movement of stock within 96 warehouses in Excel was just not possible so we ended up signing on a third party application (Erpag) which allows Multi warehouses. Rolling out Inventory Plus to us would further strengthen XERO making it an all in one software of choice.

    As a retail business with a web component I just don’t understand why this isn’t available to the world outside the US if the functionality already exists. Using 3rd party apps is unnecessarily complicated but the existing inventory features are deficient.

    Can't understand why Xero has let MYOB lead the way here if they have the package available in the US?
    Having to use Unleashed (whilst good in itself) its a pain to have to check everything in two separate packages.

    I don't see why we need to vote on critical functionality that used to be available via an add-on until Xero acquired it and then shut it down in all countries outside of the US.

    This application provides critical functionality and without it, MYOB will continue leading the way with inventory features.

    I agree, having to use 3rd party options for inventory is pain! Come on XERO just because we are small don't forget about us (NZ)

    I also agree and am echoing your call to action to have this available outside the US. We are actively looking at other providers for this service and need ASAP.

    Totally agree. The only reason we look outside Xero is to handle Inventory in different warehouses. If it works for US Xero Users then please roll out to the rest of us asap. Otherwise we will have to look at other providers that can cater for this. Thank you.
