  3. It is not possible for CIS returns to be marked as filed when submitted outside of Xero, resulting in historic returns showing as overdue.
    It would be helpful to mark CIS returns as filed when submitted outside of Xero, as is currently possible with VAT returns.

  6. Restore the ability to see the total number of days an invoice is overdue from the client contact page for credit control. It used to say 125 days overdue in red - that has gone so it is now not as easy to decide how firm to be when emailing a client to chase a late invoice. Those days overdue on an email heading get attention fast.

  8. When the screen locks it would be helpful to have the option just to logout. Currently if you have timed out but finished working on Xero you actually have to login just to be able to log out which is a waste of time.

  10. It would be good to be able to search the expenses to make sure that duplicated expenses are not submitted. Also it is really difficult to see what the expense was for and what the supplier was. Also it is really difficult to change any i8nformation on an expense as soon as it is marked as paid.

  11. When entering after Qty field, amount is pre filled with 0.00 and when you type, it will put the amount after e.g 0.00120 instead of 120.00. Please remove the pre filled zeros as with classic invoicing and keep the new invoicing in line with everything else in Xero like bills and spend money etc. It is too different!😒

  12. Sales Invoice - Bulk create Sales Invoices is possible with the import of the csv file, however, the invoices entered is not marked as paid, so we either mark them all paid on one especific date (bulk payment) or go in each one of them and enter the payment...

    Going in each one is impratical, and bulk paying all, lets say, at the end of the month is ok, but not right.

    We would love to create and mark the invoice as paid in one go, just like with the import precoded bank transactions...

  13. We have monthly invoices and we have multiple lines, sometimes 100+. With the new invoicing, the approve button is at the top of the screen and I have to scroll to the top every time I got to check the total prior to approving. Can you please make the 'approve' ribbon fixed at the top of the screen when you scroll down?

  14. If an item has been billed manually or your stuck with some items in billable expenses you have to open every bill and remove the client from the items that are have not been billed.
    Could you add a tick box selection in the Billable Expenses - Outstanding so that you can then select a remove billable expenses from multiple bills in one go.

  15. Hi, I would like to be able to complete quotes correctly please. So for example, QU-6767 was accepted by the customer. The customer later decided that only one line of the quote was required, which was invoiced. I would now like to mark the remaining part of the quote as declined.

    It would therefore be helpful to have more options for the quotes system, to be able to mark the quote as partially invoiced and the remaining as declined, even after the quote has been accepted.

For volume based businesses, we lose money (30c per transaction) on the stripe fee we pay vs what we can pass onto the customer (because there's no option currently to just pass on the full fee, just a %). That % can't legally be higher than what we are charged, and we can't add the 30c fee to the % anywhere in settings. When we're processing 1,000 transactions per month, we lose $300 to fees.   17. Once a Purchase Order is created it would be great if there was a feature to allow you to mark the PO as delivered. Currently there is no way to see what ones are complete and what ones are still outstanding. This may need to be extended to allow individual line items on a PO to be able to be marked as delivered.

  18. I've received multiple calls from customers who were confused when trying to find my bank account details on the online invoice. They couldn’t see the bank account details immediately on the view after clicking the "Review and Pay" or "View your bill online" link in the Xero email. Initially, the invoice shows only the Stripe payment option, and customers must click "View Invoice Details" to see my bank account information. This setup is confusing and not straightforward for customers!

  19. Repeating Invoices have the option to provide an optional 'End Date', however it can sometimes be difficult and/or time consuming to identify the correct end date. There's also potential to miscalculate the correct end date which can sometimes result in customers being under or over charged if the selected end date results in the wrong quantity of payments.

    It would be very useful if there was a 'Quantity' option for Repeating Invoices which would automatically select the correct end date. Therefore eliminating over/under payments.

  20. Cancel a Draft Invoice from Invoice Screen (rather than delete which loses the invoice number). Another user made this same suggestion and the Xero response was to hit the delete button and they then closed down the comments/voting option. However, her point was that if you cancel out of the invoice then the invoice number you cancelled out of is still usable, whereas hitting delete means the invoice number is no longer usable. Why has the cancel button been completely removed and only the delete function is now there.

    Appreciate you raising this again, Tom. While it's possible to Delete a draft invoice as new invoicing has autosave built in it's not possible to just cancel out without saving once a contact has been entered.

    We'll keep track of the specific interest for this here, and I have merged the original idea that was created around this in with this one.
